Did exactly what it said it would do! I needed like 300 feet to hook this cable into a modem upstairs and then run it downstairs to my Son’s room to hook into his computer. He is an avid gamer and everything was lagging,, and that’s if it was working at all!! He is Autistic and was losing his patience frequently and I am really not tech savy, however, after reading about this Ethernet cable along with the reviews,, I managed to do this myself with very little difficulty! I did purchase extra wall mounts, the ones that stick to the surface without screws, to keep the cord in place and not to cause too much of an eye sore. It worked great!! Couldn’t be happier and so is my Son, finally!! So Thankful for this cord! Hope this helps someone if they having same issue!

A well made high quality cable

I used this for a security camera. I spent a few hours trying to find out why it wasn't working. It turns out the cable is too long for reliable power over ethernet (PoE). I cut the cable in half, used an amazon crimping tool and placed a new connector on it. Bam! Camera works perfectly. So no problem with the Cat6, just don't expect the power to be sufficient on such a long distance.

I have learned the hard way that you cannot repurpose coax used on satellite dishes for use on broadband. We had a horrible line noise issue between the broadband cable block and the modem about 35 feet away. I decided to move the modem to the cable block in the basement and used this CAT6 cable to run from the modem to the router in the living room. 1) The modem now finds the signal and comes on line a LOT faster and 2) this cable was the perfect solution 3) Broadband router is happy. I have a lot of CATn cables running around the house for various reasons; all of it 50' lengths that, in many circumstances, left a LOT of spare cable just, like shoved above drop ceilings and coiled behind walls. I was glad to be able to order JUST the RIGHT length of cable needed (40'). There is little waste on either end and the cable is durable with nice, chunky connectors on each end that really locked into the modem and router well. At first, we were like "That's not enough cable...", but when I roughed in the run, it was a perfect fit. Thank you!

Necesitaba este cable de red para una access point que tengo en mi casa, y la verdad me sirvió bastante es Categoría 6 y cumple con lo que indica, recuerda que debes conseguir los conectores RJ45 para este tipo de cable ya que si es un poco as grueso que el Cat5 o 5e, lo recomiendo ya que inclusive lo que me sobro de cable lo utilice para conectar mi PS5 vía Ethernet y al velocidad de conexión es excelente, de hecho al hacer la prueba de velocidad con el PS me marca la velocidad de descarga máxima que tengo contratada, la de subida por lo general con la compañía que tengo, siempre es un poquito menos que la otra pero va muy bien, ese ya no es problema del cable si no de la compañía telefónica.
