Very nice packaging. My 6 year old loves it!We will definitely buy more drawing kits like this. Great value with the pencils, erasure, and sharpener included!

We purchased this as a bday gift for a friend of my 5 year old daughter. My daughter has had this kit for several months and loves it. She stays entertained for hours in the car. The kit has all of the colored pencils you need to duplicate the example drawings. The pencil sharpener and eraser are good quality. The paper has a grid on it that allows you to easily transfer lines from the example drawing grids. The example drawings do a good job of breaking down the steps and they are not overly complicated or detailed. My daughter loves this book and her drawing has really improved because of it.

One perfectionist daughter, (Age 5) who wants to draw perfectly (future engineer we think) loves this.It helped her to grasp one step at a time in drawing (because she wouldn't listen to me..haha)I was concerned because I LOVED her awkward drawings, and I don't love perfect, but she wanted to REALLY learn and this has helped take her drawing and her drawing confidence to the next level in her development.Great book.Highly recommend.

My daughter received this yesterday for her 7th birthday and she is hooked!!! She loves the organization of it. (And I do too for travel purposes - church, doctor visits, and restaurants) she even had to sleep next to it last night. The instructions are perfect for her age. And I think her fav. Thing is she can do it herself without us. Lol.

My 6 y.o. daughter sat down and did a number of these animals. She likes animals and likes to draw and she enjoyed this so far. (I hope more use, but time will tell). She was able to do a good job as the instructions were fairly simple and thorough.
