Wind Pro Hat

I bought this hat (a large/extra-large) for my husband. He tried it on and disclosed that it felt snug. He has a big head, or so he keeps telling me. So, I tried it on and it fit perfectly. It definitely did not feel like a man's large. The quality is very nice. The outer fabric is wind-proof and it has a full-fleece lining which feels soft and warm. I am now the happy owner of this hat and love it. I am giving it 5 stars for quality and looks but sizing seems off. They should make a size larger for a true large head.

Great hat.Polartec is one ofmy favorite fabrics for keeping warm in the winter.This hat fits me perfectly and it is very comfortable.I bought a L / XL and there are no gaps for wind to penetrate, the fleece is soft and warm and the outer material keeps the wind and the moisture out.I had a TNF WINDSTOPPER hat that featured a drawcord at the bottom to stay secure and I LOVED that hat but I lost it. TNF discontinued that hat so I had to search for something different which led me to this OR hat and the Marmot WINDSTOPPER hat. Since the Marmot was 2x the price, I figured I would try out the OR and, if I didn't like it, I could buy the Marmot later.Thankfully, the OR hat is just what I was looking for. Fits well, it's warm, and it looks pretty good too.I would definitely recommend this hat.

It keeps my head warm working in wind and cold. It is a little awkward of a fit a first because I am used to regular beanies.

Great hat! Keeps the wind off your ears, but the material is thin enough that you can use over-ear headphones! You can fit earbuds in underneath, too. The only reason I give this 4/5 is, since I wear glasses, wearing this hat for long periods of time presses my glasses frames against my head and ears, which starts to hurt.

I love this hat! It fits close to the head and is perfect for cool weather travel. It can be worn by men or women. It rolls up and can fit in a pocket or slot in a backpack or purse. It's not designed for super-cold weather, but I wore it around Europe in October and it protected my ears from the winds and kept my head dry during drizzling rain. The bottom rim (with the OR logo) folds up nicely to make a smaller hat that comes down just to the tops of your ears. Very versatile.

My old Mountain Hardwear faithful hat does not keep me warm in temps <20F and this OR hat is much warmer and fits well. It is an excellent winter hat and good for very low temp ranges with a hood. Perhaps above 32F it might be a bit too warm for some

This hat works as advertised! I am a police officers and during the winter when wind chills will get well below zero, this hat still keeps my head warmer than any slim winter hat I've used. It really does keep the wind out and of course once you get high enough and cold enough wind you start to feel it. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great winter hat! The "OR" on the front of my hat was not reflective, as it may appear to be in the picture. It was simply a light grey stitch lettering.The inside of the hat is comfy. There is a fleece ring around the lower part of the hat, which could be a little taller to cover the tops of my ears but, still does its job.

My hat size is 7 1/4. Large/extra large is too small. I own 3 of these hats now, 1 brown one for hunting, 1 black one for work which is wearing out after several years of regular use and this one i just bought. The other 2 are large/extra large and they fit perfectly. This new one is smaller. It's too tight. OR must be making them smaller now. It bums me out. It's a great hat. Very warm and windproof, water resistant and they last for years of regular use and washing. The newer ones are just too small now. I ordered one from OR's website and it was too small. I thought maybe it was mislabeled, so I sold it to a friend who has a much smaller head than me and then bought this one from Amazon. It's the same size as the first one. Too small.

Be careful. This company will send you the product. The touque is awesome. However I paid fpr shipping when purchased. Then UPS shows up and charged another $64 for import fees. The advertisement does not state that. Cost me more than the Hat. Contacted the seller still no repose. 2 emails and week later. I recommend buying from a different vendor. Not Outdoorwork.deStay away from them prices are true to advertisement.
