Product is as described. I'm new to knitting. The slickness of these needles causes yarn to slid easily, which is not a good thing for newbies. But that's user error not bad on the product.*****I feel I need to add, if you have any kind of sound sensitivity these will not be good for you. Every time needles come together they clank and they can give a very.... Nails on chalkboard kind of sound when dragged against each other. Like I said, I'm a newbie and maybe more practice and use will help me get more efficient with them where the sounds wouldn't be an issue and the sliding of the yarn becomes a bonus.... We shall see but I would recommend these for non newbies.

I am not a knitter, but I bought the set for decorative purposes. A large wooden bucket with balls of yarn that sits on the hearth. the colorful shiny needles show up well.

There is not much to say since an knitting needle is a knitting needle. People disagree on what makes the best needle. These are aluminum. I have experience with plastic and bamboo needles. I like that these needles a very smooth so the yarn slides easily. I tend to be a tight knitter and I need a smooth needle. They are also rigid and do not bend easily. I admit I haven't tried hard, but both plastic and bamboo bend, sometimes just in storage.

Needed some smaller and mid size needles and these are great. nice and lightweight, easy to handle. Your work gliders nicely on them. Nice and lightweight. Long enough for small and larger projects. Just took up knitting again after several years of not knitting. I don't do any fancy knitting, just basic knitting. Nice for beginners as we'll as those that have been knitting for awhile. Do recommend needle stoppers when not working on your projects though.

Not good for beginners because of the thinness and slipperiness of the metal but I can appreciate the challenge! Good light weight product

Fid's cost way too much money. These work just fine as a Fid, just cut off the ends and now you have a Fid.

These are very easy to use ! I like how they're a little slippery because I have an issue with making my loops too tight but it's not so much of an issue with these.

Love 5 needles I go . But my order came with one less needle . I got 1only size 8. And a pair of sizes 9 10.Want to start a project right Away so can't send them back.
