My daughters were really good recently, so I bought them a present for helping me out with a lot of chores. When I was a kid I loved fake bugs, amphibians, and reptiles, and they do now as well. I bought some stretchy earthworms, and I bought these bought these slugs. I ended up keeping a couple of them for myself as well that they gave me because there was a bunch of them, and I find them super cute too. they're good quality, they're fun to play with, nice and stretchy, didn't leave any stains like some sticky things, and they look realistic (besides the colors of course), they have the eye stalks, and the little nose feelers. I'd say it was a good purchase overall.

feels like a slug would

My niece lives in Eastern Washington. We both love practical jokes.There are no slugs there as it is too cold in the winter and too dry and hot in the summer. I thought it was only fair that she should have some.She told me she really laughed when she opened the package and saw the them. My nephew was sitting in his recliner and she threw one at him! He jumped out of his chair yelling and didn't even want to touch it ! ! Mission accomplished ! ! They are great.

I was excited to throw these in the party favor bags. Sticky, squishy, stretchy slugs! Fun addition to a woodland themed party.

Brought for the goodie bags for my grandson's birthday party,I loved the fact they are individualy wrapped and they are very stretchy the kids loved them .

I work in Hawaii doing outreach on various invasive species problems and one of those is rat lungworm disease, which is spread by slugs and snails. One of our messages for young children is to never touch slugs or snails with bare hands, and we teach people of all ages to "jug the slug" by collecting slugs they find in their garden using tongs or chopsticks. We used these slugs as a tool to get kids "practicing" picking up slugs with chopsticks (chopsticks are a common household item in Hawaii). This is my second purchase of this item - the first bag lasted through probably 50+ events and being "jugged" 100s of times before they got so mangled it was time to get new ones. A great, inexpensive teaching tool!
