The definition of 'sweet and spicy'
I know I often talk about how I don’t care much about spice, but this book is hot. I finally got around to listening to the audiobook after wanting to reread it for ages, and I think some books are too spicy for me in audio, lol. Still really good though.Thankfully the book isn’t *all* spice. The story is really sweet, and the MCs are beyond adorable together. I don’t tend to enjoy motorcycle club romances because they’re often packed full of toxic masculinity, homophobia and misogyny, but that really isn’t the case here. When Tank gets out of prison, he wants a change and ends up in a club that is the opposite of what he’s been a part of previously. Seeing him realize that he’s more than just ‘dumb muscle’ and that he can be a part of good things even after doing bad is so endearing.CJ is adorable, and you get to see the sass and confidence grow throughout the book. Tank gave him the safe space to be himself, and they just work together. They start out as prison pen pals, and we get to read a lot of the letters throughout, which certainly helped make their connection believable.

intrigued to read more
this author always does a good job with character building/plot and this book is no exception. the trope is familiar but the way the author approaches it is something different and refreshing. its got me intrigued to read more of the series.

I already pre-ordered book 2
Have you ever encountered an MC romance where women weren't treated like garbage, wasn't grotesquely homophobic, and was casually diverse? Because I most certainly have not. Kiki, sis, what are you doing? How did you know what I wanted? This was good. Like really good. It was real and raw in a way that allowed our characters to feel and heal, but never cross the line into dark territory. I also really liked the MC aspect, which I didn't think I would because MC romance has very rarely work for me (see above). It never felt like I was reading a book by someone who saw a couple episodes of Sons of Anarchy and decide to write a book. It was super developed and well-researched, while still being ethical. We've been lied to all these years, I knew this ish was possible. I also really liked how between each chapter we actually saw the letters exchanged between CJ and Tank. It really helped in developing their relationship and made it easy for you to understand how and why they fell for each other. They uplift each other and are supportive of one another. I love that CJ has a backbone and sass even though he wants to be dominated. And I adore that Tank while huge, possessive and mussled, is kind and intelligent. These are three-dimensional characters that you care about that are fun to read about. I even loved the side characters. Don't ask me to pick a favorite because I can't and won't....okay maybe Six because I have issues. Let's talk about the smut for a minute, shall we, because we kind of have to. This book, while not pure smut, was pretty d@mn dirty. Tank and CJ are really hot together and because the letters were able to establish things, we got to the fun stuff fairly quickly. Dominant, possessive, "touch him and die" daddy Tank had no right being as fine as he was. And CJ was just perfect. If you like smut in books, you're gonna have a lot of fun with this one. This book is mostly about CJ and Tank's relationship. I think there's an underline plott going on but I can't quite tell since CJ and Tank don't know and they are the only perspectives we have. All of that is to say that the last 50+ pages did drag a little for me but I didn't mind too much. This is a fun, smutty, MC romance that was NOT unnecessarily dark or offensive. 4.5 stars but I'm rounding up because I had so much fun reading this. (Also Six's book is next and I have a problem)

This was a very sweet and heartwarming story. Despite this being an MC romance, this book is not dark at all. It does touch on CJ and Tank's sad pasts a little bit, but for the most part, this is a story of healing through love, finding one's place and family. So cute! While this was cute... I found myself fairly bored with the story. It didn't pack an extra punch or have little intriguing elements that kept me snared. I will say there were several spicy scenes, and this felt like the biggest drive of the book. Overall, it's not bad, but it's definitely not my favorite so far.Tropes Include:MM Love InterestsDual POV 3rd PersonPen PalsPrison Inmate x ArtistLong Distance BondingMC RomanceLow Key Hurt/ComfortFound FamilyExhibitionism"Daddy" - CJ

Spicy and sweet at the same time
Kiki has a knack for creating characters that make us fall head over heels from the very first page. And this story is no exception! In this book, moreover, the spice factor is off the charts!I don't usually go for the Daddy k-ink, but I have to say it's handled really well and didn't bother me at all.Tank and CJ are perfect for each other, and I really enjoyed their relationship, which is above all extremely sweet.I'm really interested to see what happens with the side characters, so let's get on with the series!

oh my yes!
I am soooooo in love with CJ and Tank! This story was so pure and spicy, i loved every bit of it. So many stories always have a “bad act” including some sort of tragedy—I loved that we didn’t have to struggle for Tank and CJ to have a great relationship. Thank you so much for these characters and their story. I am excited to read more!

Awesome Daddy/boy romance with exhibitionism!
I picked this book up on a whim as it looked good and I’m so happy I did because I loved it! This is the first book I’ve read by this author but I’ll absolutely be reading more by them in the future. This was a motorcycle club book but it wasn’t your typical MC. They were very inclusive and understanding and I loved that aspect.Tank and CJ were so perfect for each other. I loved how we got to learn about the beginning of their relationship from the letters that they wrote to each other that were in between all chapters. It was such a neat concept. It didn’t feel off that this was an instalove story because of those letters.Their relationship was super hot and possessive. What’s not to love about that! I highly recommend this book if you enjoy Daddy/boy stories (and exhibitionism) and I can’t wait to read the next book in this series!

My thoughts
I really enjoyed the depiction of family, community and giving back. They were beautiful and heartwarming. Also the hotness levels. Boy, was it off the charts! :D it's great reading refreshing and unusual erotica. I'm looking forward for book 2 to see how more naughtily hardcore things can get.

Romance mignonne (trop)

Worth Waiting For.
MM romance, Daddy kink, First time, age gap, M.C. an easy to read, page turning, brilliant first book of a new series. Tank and "CJ" have an unconventional start to their relationship and they decide to leave all the negative people around them and start somewhere new together.
