The main thing I didn’t like was that the back pockets are fake and the front pockets are too shallow to hold much. The back pockets look like they are real pockets that someone sewed shot after the fact. See photo one.The other thing I don’t like is these are dirt magnets. I wear black pants all the time. These pick up more dust and what not than any other. I live in New York. Dust and what not is unavoidable here.What I like. The clasp and button system is slimming. You can see how well it’s built in photo two. The material is great. The stitching is beautiful.It’s important to not to wash before wearing because the dye can bleed into your skin. I’m going to suggest hand wash, because it’s first run through the machine it can bleed over your other clothes. It’s an issue that’s easy to get around if you know about it and they do put it in writing, on a tiny tag on the inside that refers you to another tiny tag on the inside. See photo three.

I love these pants and wanted to order them in black but they are no longer offered. I ordered the midnight affair color because it looked black on the picture. When I go outside they look more blue. Will black ever be offered again?

Since Nygard went out of business, I've been trying to find a substitute and thought these were going to be it because they fit well and were a nice black. But, when washed (and hung to dry) they shortened and faded. They only looked nice for one wear.

These pants may be a little tight, especially if you're trying to hide the stomach. The description states it stretches. It's not stretching by much. They feel comfortable.

The fit was perfect! But there seem on the bottom of the pant leg has already come undone after 1 wash.

My fit problem with pants is always the waist/hip ratio. If they fit my hips, the waist gaps. I bought these because of the reviews saying the waist was too tight, but it's too big on me as usual. I'm 5'7" tall with 28.5" waist, 41" hips. I tried the size 8 and the waist gaps at least 3", while hips are fine.These pants have an unusually curvy seam on the outer leg at the upper thigh/top of hip. If you are slim-hipped or fit, they may not work for you. I have that curve, but the loose waist makes that seam fall too low so they do look kinda like jodhpurs. Also, this style is listed as mid-rise, but I would say it's more of a high rise.These pants seem very nicely made, with substantial fabric. The price is amazing. I'm sad they don't fit!

I am always reluctant to purchasing clothing off the internet. Based on the reviews, I took my chances. I was pleased to find the pants fit beautifully and are made of a good quality fabric. I have ordered a second pair. Great value for the money.

Fabric and quality is great. However they look like jodhpurs. The thigh area is ridiculously wide. The waist and length are perfect. Will need to have them altered and taken in at the thighs.
