Healthy, tasty snack. Not salty at all.
I bought this one after watching a youtube video about sea grapes and its health benefits. Already. Bought one from Seafood City in CA but it was way too salty even after rinsing couple of time. This sea grape is not salty at all, even on the bland side. However, less sodium in snack is always a good thing. The sauce that went with it gave it a mild tangy and fatty boost. My only complain is that there were 4 pk of grapes but only 2 pk of sauce. After I finished the sauce but had 2 grapes left, I mixed my own with hoisin sauce, peanut butter, apple cider vinegar and a little chilly oil, basically what you eat spring rolls with. A little stronger but can be used as a substitute. There are vids on youtube saying just dipping it in pure chilly vinegar but this is too bland so the chilly vinegar just overwhelmed everything.

Cool texture weird taste
I heard about the hype and ordered it it was very cool how it expanded in the water and was cool to pop in my mouth. The taste was like the ocean in my mouth. Really ocean like taste which I did not enjoy. The look and color was really pretty. Maybe I’ll use the rest to decorate a dish.

Interesting taste
Its definetly an aquired taste. Pretty strong ocean taste. Love the texture. Love to eat these with peanut sauce.

Wrong size
It said it was a $1.78 per ounce. It was actually much closer to $5.32 per ounce. The picture is of 1 packet reconstituted. It is in a 1 cup measuring scoop. Fully reconstituted it is 1/3 to 1/2 cup of product. The flavor is mildly salty, with no fishy flavor. The texture is snappy, crisp, and wet. This would have had a high star rating if the amount wasn’t so deceiving. If they sent me three boxes instead of just one I may been closer to the 1.78 per ounce they advertise.Very disappointed in being deceived.

fast to prepare, fun to eat.
It took a while to soak up the water (15 mins or so), but it 'bloomed' quite well. The roasted sesame sauce was included and went very well with the sea grapes. They had an interesting texture and a really nice crunch, but we thought they would be a bit bigger.

Very cool and fun!
I got these to use with homemade sushi as a replacement for masago since it's hard to find in my area. They didn't seem to have much of a taste, but the texture is awesome and what I was looking for. I'm really glad I got some to try and definitely want to use them for future sushi! A single packet contained a lot of the sea grapes and it was really fun to watch the osmosis happen.

Delicous and very healthy 🥰🥰
The media could not be loaded. it was sooooo good Omg🤩🤩🤩, came with good packaging, very crunchy just like small version of salmon's egg, full taste of seaweed too. I love how it looks on my party platter last week. Adding some sauce will make it much better. I ate it with salt and pepper with lemon juice sauce. It was really tasty! You could use any kind of salad sauce! Very highly recommended!
