Fit is great but it's more blue in color than expected

I love a good hoodie. And for some reason, I can never trust hoodies unless they're American Apparel. Not that It's about the brand, but they always live up to its name in comfort and selection of solid colors. I have a maroon fleece hoodie and a blue terry hoodie and just wanted a different more neutral color, so I picked slate. It's a cool blue/gray-ish tone, which is exactly what I was looking for. And thankfully for Prime Day, it was on sale! I'm usually an XS in clothing, but the XS was a bit snug for my liking as a hoodie, the S is perfect for layering. My husband also has 3 American Apparel hoodies that he religiously wears. Tip: try not to stick these hoodies in the dryer to avoid pilling of the fleece and/or shrinkage (since they're cotton). Or if you'd rather stick them in the dryer (and are too lazy to hang dry sometimes, like me), try to turn it to the lowest setting of heat and take them out before completely dry.

The sweatshirt is comfortable, great for lounging around the house or wearing out and about. About a week into wearing it I noticed the color is fading on the edges of the sleeves. I've never had this happen with a sweatshirt before. Doesn't seem to be a colorfast dye--I haven't even washed it yet. Now I'm embarrassed to wear it in public. Will have to look elsewhere for a good hoodie.

This was oddly shaped and much larger than I expected. The fabric said it was cotton but seemed like mostly polyester. It looked and felt really cheap. I was disappointed and will return it.

My husband loved it. Great value and brand.

Comfortable & lightweight. Only drawback is after a wash the sleeves were full of those fuzzy lint balls.

This sweater is exactly what I wanted. Good quality and I love the slate grey colour (I’ve even had some compliments on it). It is fairly large, even for unisex. I should have sized down another size but I am able to make this one work.
