Simple but effective
These clips are great value for money and I am really pleased with them. Simple but effective, they are a convenient accessory for any gardener. The clips arrived in a resealable bag which is ideal for greenhouse or shed storage. These sturdy clips are like clothes pegs for plants. They are an effective, reusable way of attaching stems to stakes and I have found they are easier and more convenient as you can do them one-handed. They are easy to pinch open and the hole for the stem is large enough for more bigger plants.I have found these clips to be a great way to support my pepper plants in the greenhouse and I prefer these to the fuss of garden string.Green cable ties are also included in this set and again, they are reusable as you can just pop them apart again for next time.Overall, I think this set is great and, not needing to hunt for scissors when using garden twine, it is all really convenient too. I hope I will get many years’ use out of them.

Very handy garden plant ties
These are a clever alternative to the old ‘twisty-ties’ for securing plants to bamboo canes or trellises. They are basically like a plastic clothed peg, only green and shaped so that they grip at the tips but leave quite a large open area inside the jaws to accept the plant stems.I like them because you can easily open and apply one with one hand so if you are having to lift or push something like a bough of a tomato plant to be close to the bamboo support came then you can can just clip this tie around it with the other hand - much easier than fiddling to get the twisty-tie around it and then twisting the ends around and around. Also they will be reusable whereas usually you just clip through the twisty-tie when you’re cutting the plant back. You also get a bag of the other sort of plastic ties, which are also reusable because you put the end through and let the barbs catch to hold it but you can just twist it to let it undo without catching on the barbs.
