Casabella 15926 Smart Scrub Soap Dispensing Dish Brush

I WAS a dedicated Oxko brush customer for 10 years. But Oxko's rubber button to dispense soap breaks in just a few weeks. I tried the KitchenAid brush but I had many problems with leaks, but the base also broke after 4 months of use and the brush head is too large and the top edge sticks out so you can not scrub the inside of glasses without breaking them.The Casabella Smart Scrub Brush I am so-so happy with it. The whole handle squeezes soap out in a better controlled manor. The bristles are far stiffer than the competition, and the size of the brush is smaller and at a better angle to get into glasses with out fear of breaking them. No leaks either. I'd give the Casabella Smart Scrub Soap Dispensing Dish Brush 6 Stars but the name is too long; that's my only complaint-tell the marketing department to shorten the name. I bet a nerdy engineer assigned that dreadfully long name. Hah!Eight-Month Update: Overall I am very satisfied with the Casabella Brush. The bristles needs replacing, but there is no wear to buy just the just the bristles at good price. So I am forced to purchase the entire brush again and discard the old. Not very ecological and somewhat costly. The company behind this brush needs to rethink there business model; use, reuse, repurpose, recycle... There would be a higher profit margin selling just the brush without the wand. It builds brand loyalty and the cycle at which folks replace the bristles would be shorter.

It does a good job cleaning and the soap dispenser part works great. No leaking of soap from the brush and the ease of getting soap out is great compared to other brands. However, the purple rubber coating on the brush stained our sink. When it gets wet, it drips color off.

If I was sent the brush I saw in the picture, I would be MUCH happier with it. The picture shows a grey and orange scrub brush, but what they sent was the most god awful neon pink and green scrub brush that leeches pink dye into my sink. Holy Crap do I hate that part of it!!That being said, there really is no other dish scrubber brush that comes anywhere close to the way this thing performs.The soap gets squirted out better and the bristles stand up to stuck on food as well as rinse out cleaner than any other dish scrubber I have tried in my adult life.This is the scrub brush that I have been longing to find...except for the fact that the one they sent me is terribly ugly and stains my sink.

I love this scrub brush - I have used the same type for many years. It doesn't leak (until it's been used for a looong time) and the bristles are hard enough to really get grime off your dishes. It functions wonderfully.I gave it 1 star because BEWARE - they shipped me this brush in HOT PINK AND LIME GREEN. I was so disappointed especially since I really needed the brush and didn't have time to ship it back and get the right color combo. The picture says it should be grey and orange.Ironically, they shipped the same wrong color to my sister. Hope you get the brush you want! I still love it... just hate the color.

The other reviews are right - the bright pink dye on the handle leaves a pink color on the sink. (It does come off.) But WORSE (to me) is that it turns the actual soap (held in the dispenser) pink!I don't like the idea of washing my dishes and utensils with pink dye.So I threw it out. Will try another brand probably.Why on earth Casabella finds it necessary to use such cheap gaudy dye (or any dye at all - neutral or no color would be fine) is beyond me.
