pleasantly surprised
this product was used to repair a very old rusted crater in a claw-foot tub where the porceline was chipped off leaving a big ugly rusty patch that was about 3 inches across. It was many years there and I just got tired of looking at it and figured, what have I got to lose...15 bucks? The product was fairly easy to use; like using very thick bondo on a car fender. I would recommend getting as smooth an application as possible as it is extremely difficult to sand smooth and you'll need a lot of sandpaper and elbow grease. I eventually used a dremmel with a sanding bit and a very light touch.Using the tape method left sharp ridges that were impossible to smooth out and I applied a second coat over these in an effort to smooth out the edges like you would with dry wall compound. The color of the patch is whiter than the old claw-foot tub but is not really very obvious unless you know where to look. It is barely noticable at all. Overall, I am satisfied with the repair. The old tub hasn't looked this good in 20 years. The only thing I wished I'd done differently after I was finished was to have applied a coat of rustoleum to the rust even though I had wire brushed it as best I could to clean it. Time will tell how it sticks. So far, it looks great.

Very Pleased
Covered very well. I would recommend using a small oil paint brush for larger area. I used the tools provided in the package. It did not turn out well. Then I removed it and applied with my small oil paint brush (#2). Result is amazing. Please be careful NOT to use color masking tape. The color stains.

Once in hardened it was hard to sand but a file and a Dremel i was able to sand it down.
I used this to fix a chipped ceramic plate. Turn out well

Thought it worked, and then...
I have some rust spots on my tub. I applied this, and it was relatively easy to apply, a bit messy. Shouldn't have used blue tape but regardless, after a few months, one of the patches I made fell completely off in an entire piece. I'll try reapplying but it makes me worry about the other patch I made. This particular one that came off was not on a flat surface, so maybe that had to do with it, but it makes me wonder about the quality & material of the product. Not happy tbh.

Easy to mix and use
Was easy to prep and apply, had to apply twice to fill in evenly, can't tell where holes were on tile color matched perfectly, would recommend this product.

Porcelain repair kit for tub chips
The product is a little messy to mix and sticky to spread. I used it to cover a greenish stain and a chipped area. I was surprised that it hardened to a smooth finish and covered the stain and cracks well although the color from tub and kit were slightly off from each other. The tub looked better. I would use it again if needed.

Worked great! Amazing results.
Used this to repair a dent/chip in an acrylic shower pan after dropping a porcelain tile on it. Amazed at the results. Color was a perfect match (must be a standard white). The only downside is that the surface of the pan is slightly dimpled (for traction), and the sanding part of the process created a small smoother area. But you still have to get really close with a bright light to tell.
