A great assortment of polishing pads at a great price! Winner here!
These are a GREAT value for the cost! You get fine, medium, and coarse pads with 2 imitation wool pads. This kit also comes with 2 drill adapters and 2 backing pads. The seller provides a precise description of what pad does what in the description and everything is exactly as described.Another reviewer posted an accurate description of polishing and pad usage. There's no need to apply a lot of pressure when polishing. I apply very light pressure to keep the pad even and level, but nothing more than that when polishing my car.Be sure to clean your pads after usage and air dry them! Always inspect them before using to ensure you don't actually create scratches on your vehicle from grit that may have made its way to the pad. Keep them out of the sun when not in use to prevent premature pad failure/wear due to the sun drying the foam out. I keep my pads in gallon sized zip lock bags when not in use (separate bags for color and a new and used bag). Following these simple things and my pads from this kit have never broken apart.I highly recommend this as it is a great value! (low cost + numerous pads = WIN) If you found my review helpful, please let me know by clicking the "helpful" button. Thanks for taking the time to read my review. You can't go wrong with this item!

Nothing lasts forever. These don’t either. But still good value!
I use these 3” pads on my Adam’s mini swirl killer, AND on my electric drill. They tend to hold up a lot better when used with the drill, the DA polisher has just too much power, speed, and weight. But I still happily pick these pads over the expensive Griot’s Garage ones I used to use. Even if these don’t last half as long as the Griot’s, they are like one tenth of the price. So obviously I can forgive the lower durability.Overall they work nice, the pads follow the basic color code and you get a lot for the money here.

Works as designed
One problem is this comes with no user document, and you have no way of knowing which color or type should be used if waxing, polishing, buffingAlso, then do not know how they want these cleaned and driedI used yellow and black ones for putting the polish on and then buffing the whole car over 2 daysI washed them in warm dishwasher soap, rinsed and then let air dry 2 times, and they maintained their shapeThey install just fine on the holder but takes a bit of work getting them offThe pad holder rod that you install on like a multi speed drill is too large if you wanted to use with a Dremal tool

Nice set of small polishing pads for those small jobs.
These are really handy for small scratches and touchups on any car or truck. Also work well on those dulling plastic headlamp covers. Good assortment that covers the full range. Also includes the mount to use with a drill or similar. A good value too.

10 things you need to know about polishing and cleaning a car or headlights.
I was scrolling thru the reviews and I believe a quick heads up would help out.1st these are not sanders for heavy work or wood .2. They are polishing pads.3. In polishing it is the rpms or speed of the drill motor that creates the shine.4. I've read these are one off then throw away..wrong...if used correctly you can use them until they get to dirty to use..they will not tear break or come off in little pieces.5. You want to use minimal pressure to polish. When you push hard you are creating abrasion.. not polish. You will destroy the pads and possibly the headlight lens by overheating and at a molecular level melt the plastic.. you want speed to create friction heat and only heat up the minimal surface .hair thin.6 if you want to have abrasion go get a piece oh fine wet/dry sand paper and wet it and gently remove the top of the surface then hit it with the pads..again very little pressure you want speed and a hand drill is slow enough with out degrading it.7. I did a whole crv using this to see if it would be a option if you do not have a high speed 2500 rpm or higher buffer.( I have one I needed something to hit the hard spots a 10 pad can't reach)I used 2 pads and both are fine for I'm guessing a bunch more.it comes with (2) a soft lambs wool type attachments.8. Use a cutter..more abrasive one for rubbing compound if your using that product .a fine one for polish.then the furry one to shine.. again in all these it is speed..or lack of it that will determine the outcome.9.keep it moving with a light touch for polish . Medium at best for cutting..if it comes off in pieces you are pushing way to hard and or a rough surface..invest in a clay bar.(easiest thing to do in this process) it will remove the dirt that is making the surface rough..if your finger can not slide easy and it is not very smooth to the touch. The car washes you've went to have driven small particles of dirt into your paint. That dirt is blocking your shine..no washing will remove it. A clay is fast and very easy trust me..then use a macquires or turtle wax polish and lightly *again the speed thing..then a coat of either ceramic or wax..you can put a speaker first then put good old cheap cannuba wax and buff with the fuzzy pad ..for lack of a better word since I don't know what they are actually made of..again try to get as much speed as possible..it is doable if. You have the time..I did a sub so it can be done..its easy just requires time and elbow grease..did I mention speed us key here not pressure.10 finally headlights again the basics speed .. use some fine wet sand paper. (Sparingly your not sanding a chair )then use rubbing compound medium abrasion and polisher fine (black ones without grooves) and then the fuzzy one again..wipe it off and do it again if necessary..if you take off to much uyou will melt the plastic on molecular level and it will never be clear..you want to use heat to change the very finest layer of the plastic.. kinda like cutting hair..you an always cut more but you can't put it back on if you cut to much..In summary I cannot imagine any scenario with a clean smoothe surface (clay bar folks is key here even on headlights windows ect. Again I cannot stress how easy it is to use) that someone could use all these pads in years..Used correctly they work and in conjunction with a plan of how you are going to get it done they are a amazing deal..just small ..you trade some time for money..think about the job..use the right material for the job..kinda like the right tool for the job if you will..if you want anything more then very light abrasion use wet sand paper keeping it wet always!!!!For a great shine just wash the car. Clay bar it..its just silly putty stuff that you only use enough pressure to hold it without it slipping out of your fingers while going over the surface.. use a polish like turtle wax or mothers ..(polish with light pressure..) black pad or white then wax apply just a little and move vat a comfortable speed with light pressure ..if you do these things your neighbors will ask you who detailed your car and unless you live in high end area where people pay other folks to do as I just explained..you will have the most deep glossy better then showroom finish on the block that will last .just wash by hand and boom there it us again..only have to clay bar once every couple years but after feeling that smoothe paint you will want to do if more often. You xan get 4 bars here on Amazon for like 13 bucks...that will last a while. You will give bars away as your friends say wow how did this get so crazy shine and glossy.Hope this helps at least one person..watching your car transform by your work is immediate gratification. Just do it in small bites over a day..wax take about 24 hour to cure so it will actually be more glossy the next day..ever seen a car just glisten went it went by you or see it parked and thought dang. Well make your car look like that and have other people say dang...

Pretty decent pad for price.
Decent pads for price! Did the job I had for them. Back of pads come off when washing out. But all in all ok.
