reliable and durable choice for trekking and outdoor adventures
The Columbia Redmond 3 Mid Rise Hiking Boots are a reliable and durable choice for trekking and outdoor adventures. The waterproof design keeps your feet dry in wet conditions, while the sturdy sole provides excellent grip on rough terrains. They're comfortable for long hikes, offering good ankle support without feeling too heavy. While they may take a little time to break in, once they do, they offer great comfort and protection on the trail. Overall, these boots are a solid pick for hikers looking for performance and durability.

Very comfy, NOT WATERPROOF
Very comfy boots, really protective on the ankles, and good grip, but not waterproof, socks soaked walking through short wet grass.

Great boots
I've waited 4 months to review these. Been used these daily, well made and rugged, very comfy and support feet and ankles well. Regarding the waterproofness - all I can say is that I have been through, puddles, mud, rock pools and heavy rain and I have never had anything other than warm and dry feet. So unsure why others have had a problem with wet grass for instance. With regard to sizing, I went up a size based on other reviews and have been pleased with that. Great I could get them in UK size 16 and my normal size 15 feet fir in them lovely. Great boots, I wouldn't hesitate in buying them

Comfortable. Good fit. Airy!
Good fit for my wide feet. The specs say medium width but the photos showed a wide looking boot and they fit really well, true to size. Comfortable fit, no sharp edges inside, decent insole comfort. Breathable, you can feel the air! Can't vouch for the waterproof claim as I not had them properly wet yet, but at the price of £57 I'd take good levels of waterproof as a bonus.First time for this brand for me, but would buy again.

Great comfy shoes
I bought these for walking on the moors, mainly dog walks. I used the size guide for my feet. When I first tried them on I thought they were slightly tight, but after 10 minutes of walking they gave a little and are now incredibly comfy. I'm wearing them with a pair of Marino socks and it's like walking on a carpet everywhere I go. It's transformed my walks and my ankles and feet feel supported.

Toe leaks one week after return window closed.
Very comfortable boots but: Described as waterproof. Toe leaks on left boot, one week after return window closed. I was merely walking down a sloshy muddy towpath for a couple of hundred yards. Not good enough. This is my 3rd pair of Columbia boots and the quality has dipped each time, but this is the last straw. Will never buy another pair

Very comfy but waterproofing didn't last long
These are very comfortable shoes, snug and warm. But after 2 months of wearing a couple of times a week then waterproofing has failed and my toes are soaked. So id recommend for mainly dry use or if you want something warm... Not for water resistance
