A winter shirt I can also ride in
I cannot believe the quality of these shirts (I bought a green and a beige one). I am 6', 90kg and ordered a large. It fits perfectly. In fact, its nicely snug without being tight, or restrictive ion any way.I bought this shirt to stay warm whilst working from home and to have riding gear I don't need to change out of when I'm taking breaks away, or even going into the office. The quality, style and fit are all excellent. After replacing the armour with D30 Ghost, I become the undercover biker I always wanted to be.Material and build quality------------------------------The cotton used for the outer, at this price, is very good indeed. I will be interested in seeing how it washes and how long it takes for the shirt to look worn and tired. The Kevlar lining is the entire inner lining of the shirt.Armour---------Whilst this comes with a back protector, shoulder and arm protection, I have replaced them with my own D30 Ghost Level 2 pieces. I would not use any armour provided with garments at this price point.Functionality---------------This shirt is so comfortable, it does not feel like a jacket, unlike some others I have tried at much higher price points. As a nice bonus, the shirt features a press-stud loop on each side so you can connect it to your trouser belt - that is such a very good idea and one I've never seen before. Why I bought this shirt.---------------------------I do not like black heavy leather motorcycle gear. it is uncomfortable in summer and winter when off of the bike, unless I also take normal clothes in which to change once I arrive. Up to 2020, dark or heavy leather riding gear was the only option so I learned to live with it. Then came the check riding shirts, followed by black hoodies and finally jeans. All lined with kevlar and fitted with armour. It was a great improvement but I still looked like a biker. Plus, this was not really my choice of casualwear. Finally, companies, like Great Bikers gear, began making affordable chinos, hoodies and plain shirts that actually looked like regular non-motorcycle clothing. The last part of all of this was the ultra thin LEVEL 2 Ghost armour from D30 which, when inserted, is very hard to tell one is wearing armour at all. Matched with riding trainers (leather boots designed to look like trainers), I could finally be the 'undercover' biker I had always wanted to be.With my new wardrobe, I can ride to to festivals, long weekend breaks, even the office to work, without having to change my clothing, or carry more than I really need. It's liberating.Warmth---------The added advantage of the Kevlar lining, and actually the MAIN reason I buy this type of gear, is that I no longer have to layer up in winter when working from home, or for riding on cooler spring and summer evenings.Longevity-----------Kevlar weave fabric does not last forever. I have Kevlar lined jackets and I know that the fabric will deteriorate after five or more years - less if washed in hot water or ironed (which you should never do). Unlike my very expensive jackets, these shirts can affordably be replaced after they have provided a reasonable service life.Safety-------I only use Level 2 D30 Ghost in this type of clothing, so I'm perfectly safe as I never ride without full protection head to toe. I also use professional riding gear for long distance and hard riding. This gear is for social riding and for looking smart without any hassle. As the armour comes out and goes in easily, I have everything I ever wanted to be the ultimate undercover biker.

Excellent but needs stronger inner pocket
Excellent, warm, comfortable and protection appears good. If you don’t much like the look of motorcycle kit, this heavyweight cotton shirt can be worn under any top layer you like. When worn in the summer on its own it’s more versatile and softer than a mesh jacket which can quickly get cold.Good value, looks good and fits to size. Only criticism is that the net inner pocket isn’t strong also it would be good to have two lower pockets in addition to the chest pockets.

Does what it says on the label
The shirt is great, zips and buttons. Light weight but strong. Comfortable to wear, and not too bulky or uncomfortable. Great on a Sunday day, as it has all tje protection without the bulk of a heavy leather or bike jacket. Is warm and versatile

Good piece of kit, comfortable, good protection and not too heavy
Really impressed with this shirt, its more like a jacket, vert comfortable ,all protection is in the right place, sizing is a bit of an enigma, i normally take a 2XL, but looking at the collar measurements the neck would have been to tight, so I went for the 3XL hoping arms and chest would not be too baggy, I'm 5ft 6" and 14 stone, well to my surprise it fits perfectly, the elbow pads fit perfectly in line with the elbows, back protection is in the right place , neck is just about right, only 1 downfall I can think of ,it has 3 pockets, 1 mesh pocket inside and 2 chest outer pockets, as it is defined as a shirt this would be right but it could have done with a couple of low level side pockets, other than that ,perfect for me

Good quality, but elbow pads in the wrong place
On first impressions, it's a very smart jacket which is well made. It even comes with back armour which is quite rare when ordering a bike shirt! The fit is spot on, and comfortable in the riding position. The only things that let this jacket down are the elbow pads. They sit around the back of your arm instead of on your elbow which is slightly annoying

Sizing all wrong
2XL is more like a large and the 3XL is more like an XL

Very good quality
Quality is great keeps you warm but also cool quite impressive. Would have preferred a smaller waist size on the 2xl version but there are a couple of since straps one on either hip that allows attachment to pants which prevents ballooning effect. Great quality zips and fasteners too. The material feels superior and the colour tends to reflect heat on those hot sunny days. It breathes well and keeps everything just right. You will need an over garment for rain I imagine but to be fair I have yet to try.
