Stihl 3639 005 0062 Saw Chain 16 inch

No one in my home town had a chain, wanted to sell me a new bar and chain for 3 times want this one cost. Thank You!

Excellent chain for the saw I refurbished. Bought bar with it. It cut thru the log quicker then my new one. Great product for older saws.

Purchased as returned item. The chain had not been used but returned. Item listed as 3639 005 0062, a 26RS chain. Item received is 3639 006 0062, a 26RSC chain. I have several chains and use according to the task at hand but have not tried this chain yet. Considering the reduced price expect will be satisfied but it is not what I thought would be getting. Stihl makes numerous style chains tailored for specific task and users. Since it will fit at some point will run it and see how it cuts.

So far I’m good. I did have issues finding chains for my ms-250 but these fit perfectly. Haven’t cut a lot with them but they do keep a good edge

I have owned a Stihl chain saw for years now and I have always used other brand of chains because they were cheaper. I would normally have a couple new chains on hand because the last thing you want is a dull blade when you are cutting trees. I found this Stihl chain saw blade and figured I would order it even though I don’t typically order Stihl blades. WOW is all I can say, I can not believe I haven't been buying Stihl chains for my Stihl chain saw all these years. This chain is so much sharper and it cuts with less stress. I can’t believe I have been using this chain saw blade now for several months and it is still sharp. If I were still using the normal chains I buy, I would have changed them out at least three times by now. I will never use anything else except for a Stihl chain saw blade from now on. I guess it’s true what they say, you get what you pay for. I learned my lesson on this one, I will definitely be keeping this link so I can purchase this chain saw blade again in the future.

If you’re like me, a noob to chainsaw repair and chain replacement, you’ll be shocked at all the variables that go into finding the right chain replacement. So do your homework first (check your chain bar it might have the chain requirements on it) and then buy a quality chain like this one.

I use my chainsaw primarily for cutting firewood. This profile is perfect for that use.

A bit more expensive that the aftermarket chains but fit perfectly as expected and works perfectly.
