I have tried MANY different products to help my 93 yr old mother with her EXTREME anxiety, manifested by hyperventilation, non stop talk, screaming, un operative behavior, shaking etc.. Psychiatrist tried many drugs & different combinations of drugs to no avail. Everything tried had horrendous side effects ranging from worsening of the anxiety, to hallucinations, to manic behavior, to muscle weakness etc. I then tried a host of herbal products, drops & pills, & powders. Everything either made her symptoms worse or were ineffective. I then came upon Calm & Calmer & low & behold, FINALLY found something that is truly helpful & no side effects! I knew she would never swallow the capsule, so I pull it apart & pour the contents in a small amount of cranberry, apple etc juice & give it to her with her meds or vitamins. That way I make sure she has downed it. I use it usually twice a day. Ativan had worked somewhat in the past, but her anxiety seemed to have worsened from baseline when the ativan was wearing off. Calm & calmer just seems to have the right combination to help her. She also has dementia, & life long history of anxiety that seems to have increased with the onset of the dementia. I also add L theanine 100mg to her morning coffee & that has a calming effect without making her sleepy. The calm & calmer also has theanine & the additional ingredients, seem to help better with the more extreme afternoon anxiety, than just the L theanine alone.I have learned over the past 2 yrs that it takes time & vigilance to find products that are truly effective, for our unique & individual "blueprints".Calm & Calmer has been an absolute blessing for my household. My mother is way calmer & family members are glad to have more peace & quiet in the household!

This product had been recommended to me years ago by a knowledgeable health food store owner.Have used Calm and Calmer on and off but decided to try other supplements for stress.Taking DHEA, 5-htp, Melatonin, L-Tyrosine they are helping and working butI specifically needed relief from mental and physical fatigue. As a care giver to aging friends and relatives, wife, mother and doing home business I needed care! I could not settle down to focus on office work due to stress. Researched the ingredients and found they help the body as an herbal adaptogen to decrease high stress hormone levels (like cortisol raised from not enough sleep)and can improve mood, stamina and mental clarity. Bought 3 bottles to try again and very happy I did.This time I started taking 2 capsules mid-morning once a day and found it stopped my "anxious eater" urges coldenough to loose 5lbs. this month. Helps at night for getting to sleep

My wife uses this product when she starts to feel anxious. It really helps. Good for mid sleep problems as well. No significant side effects except calmer life.

It takes about two weeks to kick in, but it does seem to reduce my heart racing. I also seem to sleep better using it.
