HORT Paper Tree Wrap 3" x 50' roll, Commercial Grade

This tree wrap is what professional arborists use to protect thin barked trees from the harshness of winter. It’s easy to use and works great!

I bought this 14 months ago for sun protection on a newly planted tree and am very happy with it. The main reason I decided on this wrap was the looks. There was the option to paint the tree trunk but I wanted something more natural looking. It blends in very well and has stood up to extreme UV and the tree is happy and healthy. Made in the USA, looks good and works for sun protection in a harsh desert climate.

it works well for the tree wrap - it is a little hard to tell the 'wax' side b/c almost the same color - would be better if it included either a tie or tape that would last thru a winter b/c i'm not sure of the best method to ensure it stays secure at the top of the wrap. We already have snow and cold weather so could be a long winter here - time will tell if the wrap stays in place!

The media could not be loaded.  We had two trees, professionally planted, and they wrapped the trunks with something that looks very much like this. Earlier in the summer I had planted too much smaller trees, and they suggested I add a wrap to them for the winter. This paper wrap seems exactly like what they used. The directions say to have the waxy side out, but there is no discernible waxy side. I don’t know if I put it on right side up or inside out. I used it the same direction as you would use for any other kind of tape- as if the sticky side was inside the roll. My baby trees look great. I hope it lasts through the winter.

So far this wrap is great! Very sturdy and feels pretty thick. Seems to be as good as the other popular brand and costs less. Looking forward to see how it holds up to the wind and snow during the winter. Will definitely buy again.

Easy to use. It doesn't adhere itself. You wrap it tight and tape both the top and bottom couple of wraps. I feel it's too expensive for what it is. But it works and I haven't found a better alternative yet.

This is a nice product for shielding tree trunks from winter sun scalding. It’s a bit awkward to use, because you need to go round and round the tree truck while keeping the roll from unspooling.

Wrapped several young trees this winter (2022-2023) and all fared well. If anything the wrap provided me with peace of mind.

Complete garbage and did not do what what expected. Ending up ripping it off and throwing it out. Flimsy material and overpriced. Can't even return it now. Would not recommend waste of money

Not at all what I wanted. Non-returnable. Better know what you want, no refunds. Very disappointed.
