I have a 27 plus bike, and I thought that wide tire were all that I would need. These looked too beefy, and I thought that there could be some rolling resistance.They are beefy, but I don't notice any rolling resistance at all. What I do notice is the amazing grip! These babies hold on to everything.I live in SoCal, and the terrain is loose rocks over hardback. It is nice to have a tire that grips so well around corners.I can't wait to get the rear version

I mean...it’s the DHF. Everyone who’s anyone runs or has run one of these. This is the plus size which says 2.8 but it’s actually 2.7 upon measuring it. Great in the turns but it’s not spectacular at clearing mud (see pic). Still one of the best tires you can run. I run mine Tubless at 19-20lbs.

THIS TIRE ARRIVED ON TIME AND WELL PACKAGED. IT EVEN CAME WITH A COOL BLACK AND ORANGE MAXXIS DRAWSTRING NAPSACK. THAT WAS A NICE TOUCH. NOW FOR THE TIRE ITSELF IT'S AWESOME, NICE HIGH KNOBS, GREAT GRIP, GREAT CORNERING AND REALLY GIVES ME CONFIDENCE KNOWING THIS TIRE CAN HANDLE ANYTHING. WAS A LITTLE HARD TO SEAT TUBELESS BECAUSE IT IS VERY THICK (2.8) AND FAT. ONCE IT WAS SETUP I TOOK MY BIKE OUT FOR A SPIN AND REALLY ENJOYED THE RIDE. HAD IT SET UP WITH A MAXXIS REKON IN THE REAR BUT QUICKLY CHANGED TO A MINION DHR AS WELL FOR THE UPCOMING FALL AND WINTER MONTHS.

Really happy with these, they look slimmer than 2.8 which I was hoping for but they have great great grip as well as look bad ass.

Great tire keeps the bike stable on the trail . Holds on and me in joy the Rock gardens and roots .

These tires grip like iron. There is audibly less slipping than other tires, that is, the chatter and sliding you normally hear in corners with your other tires will be less as the Minions dig into the dirt. very confidence inspiring.

I live in Las Vegas, where the terrain is dry, rocky (jagged rocks) and cactus. This is the only for me. Can’t go wrong. 👍

Have been riding this tire for about six months. Wear seems normal. I've mounted a lot of tires in my day: this thing was the hardest tire to mount that I've ever encountered, period. Almost got to the point where I was going to take it to a bike shop, then I found a youtube video. Secret: have to make sure the opposing bead is in the very center (smallest radius) part of the rim, ALL AROUND THE RIM, before you can get the other bead on. Even then it is still a bee-atch. I'm not sure I could manage it away from the shop; let's hope I never have to find out.

Me gusta que es casi indestrutible. Y que se puede usar en bajadas de puertos de montaña, se coje muy bien siempre que el asfalto sea abrasivo. Ah en medida 2.80.

Tolles Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. die Qualität passt. Oft im Einzelhandel nur unter Vorbestellung zu kaufen. Die Anlieferung und die Lieferzeit beträgt nur ein bis zwei Tage, ist absolut in Ordnung. Werde meine Reifen wieder so kaufen. Kann ich nur weiter empfehlen.
