I bought this product for my cats who jump up on my vinyl kitchen chairs and their nails have sliced up the vinyl. I reupholstered the chairs and put the scratch protector sheets on the new vinyl. So far, it’s working well. It sticks to the chairs and is easy to remove and actually is a deterrent for my cats getting on the chairs. I tried it on my walls (eggshell finish) and my doors (semi-gloss finish) and it sticks well and is easy to remove. I also tried it on my carpet and my couch. I did not use the clips that came with it. It doesn’t stay in place as well on the carpet or couch and I’m not too sure how well the clips would hold. They look like they would stick up so I didn’t want to use them. I wouldn’t say it's “heavy duty” but it is thick, clear, and flexible. I like the fact that this product can be used for a variety of other home or craft projects too.

Our dachshund destroyed both pieces in 2 days.

This is a life saver and a great product a must for renters. I didn't use the provided tabs because I'm renting. But even if I wasn't I still would have purchased this because my dog thinks she needs to save me. I used the removable 3m Velcro tabs so I could remove it to clean or anything else.

Since putting this on the door our cat hasn’t touched the door. Not sure if he doesn’t like the texture or what but we haven’t had an issue with him since. Worth the $

Apparently, I am the sworn protector of my roommate’s sweet but, drama queen of a dog. She scratches my door like the world is ending anytime she sees a rain cloud. She goes into turbo scratch mode when there is thunder or lightning. I first spackled, sanded and painted my shredded door then, placed two of these, side by side, on the back of my door and it is really holding up to this mighty little destroyer of doors. Would definitely recommend.

Works well it was easy to put up but had to had extra Velcro to keep it up

Did not stick to door it was suppose to be protecting against scratches. Kept falling off. Do not buy. A complete waste of money!

Product didn’t stick to door, unrolled and stuck to itself….total waste of money.
