This was a present for my son and he likes book 1 and 2 very much. Will beordering more books very soon.

Popping in to say that I would buy this, and want to buy it, but that Netflix roundel-badge-thing has put me right off.If it just had the Netflix logo, maybe. Or "A Netflix series". Or even "A [Netflix logo] series"!But Netflix A Netflix Series? I can't be looking at that.

The book arrived in brilliant condition and time. I've not read it yet but the TV series was fantastic so I expect good things from the graphic novel.

Must for comics fans. Good condition.

I ordered 3 copies of this for a "favorites party" my wife was throwing; the idea is you get together with friends and bring 3 copies of one of your favorite things, and then everyone does like a dirty santa style exchange and walks away from the party with 3 different things that are their friends' favorite thigns.I didn't really read the product description here, jsut say Sandman vol 1 and that he price fit under the party limit, and I ordered them. I fully expected copies of the old vol 1 TPB that only has the first story arch in it- like 6 issues. Imagine my surprised when this monster arrives with the first 3 story arcs, 20 issues- this is less than $1 per comic! Absolutely bonkers!Now, I'm not going to buy the rest of this edition, because I have the Absolute Editions on my shelf, but I think there's a very good chance my 3 friends will want to continue this series and will be picking up the rest.All that talk about this particular edition out of the way, as you can guess, I believe Sandman is one of the greatest comics ever produced. It's a beautiful story, rich in imagination and poetry and art. If you've never read it, buy this version (again, less than $1 per comic, CRAZY) and dive right in.

Neil Gaiman, and all the artists and creators working with him, did manage to surprise me! Although there were stories I liked more and stories I liked less I had an amazing time reading this very dark and thought provoking collection. The world building is done over all the installments and the more comics I read, the more I started to admire how well thought out everything seemed! Although the artwork is not really my style it does fit the story and the characters and the world. I got that excited that I already got the next collection!

Ho comprato questo articolo per completare la collezione dei quattro volumi di Sandman che dovevo regalare.Tenendo conto che il valore del prodotto diminuisce notevolmente se non arriva in condizioni intonse e che la persona a cui è stato regalato è fanatica di queste cose, sono felice di dire che il volume è arrivato in perfette condizioni! Non c'erano ammaccature alla copertina né altri segni strani, che come si sa, è uno dei rischi di acquistare così a scatola chiusa.Tutti felici e soddisfatti.

I loved the book especially after watching the web-series.
