I am so glad to be using the step system this year. I would suggest using all of the steps for best results. The bag will tell you what time of year to use each step. I had a LOT of dandelions last year. They are completely gone except for one lone dandelion this year. It is now gone and will not be back since I know that this product works.

Much better than what is sold by the big box stores. It helped kill the bent-grass that had started to spread and did a much better job of controlling weeds. Worth every penny.

Recommended because we had two large trees taken down, stumps grounded down and soil and seed put down -- needing something that would work for existing lawn without ruining the new grass seed growing.

The Step Products from Scott’s are the best lawn products on the market. Be sure to use Step One FOR SEEDING and not just STEP ONE if you plan on planting grass seed at the same time. The regular Step One will prevent germination of crabgrass, weeds, AND grass seed. I guarantee you will have the best lawn in your neighbourhood if you do one full year of the four step program. Follow directions for application. More isn’t necessarily better. You will burn your lawn and waste money if you spread too much fertilizer.
