Great lens at a great price
This lens is perfect for landscape photography, it has fantastic clarity, great focus, is very quick, and is very durable. I have taken this lens out into the desert for my photography, dropped it a couple times into the dirt, and have seen no signs of damage whatsoever. At the price point, this lens is perfect for both new photographers and seasoned ones alike. Have recommend it to several photographers and will continue to look for more products from the company.

A nice lens!
I bought this lens 2 or so years ago, then forgot about it. Recently I purchased the Sigma 16mm ($400) and had a chance to compare the lenses. I ended up returning the Sigma 16mm because it was so long and heavy. The images are fine on the Sigma, but I found very good image quality on this Meke lens with even greater wide angle range, and excellent low light capability. So what if it is manual-as I grow in my skills, shooting manually is a skill I want to have. The lens, as well, is 1/2 the length of the Sigma lens and definitely lighter. People are funny in how they rate camera equipment. I travel internationally so size and weight matter to me. I think, from now on, I'll be bringing the following camera and lenses with me: Sony 18-135, Sony 70-350, The Meke 12mm, and possibly the Sigma 30mm. As well, I'll be bringing the Mavic mini drone, and the Weebill S gimbal. The drone and gimbal are because I'm starting to shoot videos/documentaries when I travel.

Excellent value for money
As advertised. Solid, mostly metal prime lens. It's totally manual focus and aperture, so you have to actually know how to use your camera.Good corner to corner sharpness, very low image distortion. Mild but manageable vignetting - seems most apparent on long exposure images when you increase the contrast in post-processing.

SOLID LENS
I’m a fan of fully manual lenses and this one wont let you down. After doing some skateboarding photography I wanted to get a wide angle lens to get better shots and this thing is perfect for it.It’s a bit warpy on the edges but I expected that.Build quality is five stars. Fully metal with some decent weight to it.Picture clarity seems to be on point so far. I’ve only had it two days but it’s stayed on my camera the entire time.

Beware Metal Shavings!
Overall I'm very happy with this lens. I think it's great value for the money and I was able to get some great images with it. I only noticed a slight issue with the focus ring where sometimes it seemed to tighten up or something, but it still turned ok and it hasn't caused any issues focusing.Edit: I've returned my model after finding metal shavings inside my camera mount and on the sensor. It could have just been the one i received, but not gonna risk ruining my sensor for a good deal. Hopefully your experience is different because it did produce good images.

Fully manual. Tricks make focusing a breeze.
It works great with the a6300. You can program the cameras manual focus magnification helper to show a zoomed in section of the view finder. This allows you to set the focus accurately. When in a rush to take pics of fast moving objects, like kids, the extra time it takes to shoot could cost you your shot, however, when taking landscape and architectural shots the extra time has no impact. The lens isn't as sharp as my old konica minolta but it also costs a lot less.

Junk
Just the first view shows a nice wide angle and also the round edge of the lens. Not a worthy effort in making this lens. Very little focus adjustment.

Solid lens
Solid lens, manual focus and aperture, but I'm alright with taking a couple extra seconds per shot to save big money. I'm no professional photographer, for your typical still photo situations, this lens I think is more than enough for the amateur photo guy.
