This was an exact replacement for my faucet, which was 10 years old and no longer changing sprays. I installed it in less than 5 minutes so here are a few tips. If your older faucet was working but failed, then you only need to do an exact replacement. If on the other hand you inherited a non working faucet there is a little bit more involved. This review is for a direct replacement of a previously working but worn faucet head.When you replace the head, you should replace the flow restricter and "O" ring. I ordered the head with the flow restrictors and "O" ring.1. Remove your old faucet head and disassemble it. Inspect it and take pictures. The replacement head should be exactly the same.2. Remove the head by unscrewing it. Hopefully you can hand unscrew it.3. Put aside everything from the old head. You should not use any of these worn parts.4. With your new head, you need to chooses your flow restrictor. Most people prefer the higher flow volume which is in my case is white. However, my instructions (which are a poor diagram) talk about gray, green, white and yellow flow restrictors.5. Insert the flow restrictor as per the diagram and if your old faucet was working insert it the same way. The small round hole in the center faces the hose. The smaller holes face the faucet head.6. Next remove the old "O" ring. Do not reuse this.7. TIP! Get a little vaseline and lube the new "O" ring.8. Install the new "O" ring.9. Push the hose into the faucet head and screw it together. It should screw together smoothly. If not do not force it. Start over and rethread it.10. Turn on the water.One note about the product review. My original Grohe faucet stopped working effectively at about 7 years. That is unacceptable for the price and brand. I have other Grohe and Hansgrohe products that have working for twice as many years and counting. This is a very good replacement product for an overpriced poorly made faucet. It may be worth considering an alternative product if this is a long term investment.

Thank you to Amazon for having this in stock at a great price with fast delivery. Installation is easy. Getting the old spray head off the hose can be tricky as it tends to stick to the hose with corrosion and calcium. Amazon does have this hose, but if your old hose is in good shape, you can easily fit it onto the new Sprayhead. Be very gentle prying apart the old spray head from the hose - a bit of penetrating oil helped. There is an O-ring supplied to replace the old one on the hose. The directions are a bit confusing - there are two plugs or pressure regulators that go inside the new Spray head - the directions show that one is for a lower water flow and the other one for a higher water flow. The higher flow plug was the same as the plug in the old Spray head. Use one or the other - NOT BOTH.

Works great!

Although skeptical at first, this replacement faucet is working well and actually provides a bit of an updated look to the faucet. It fit perfectly into the older Europlus hose connection and covered the faucet base completely. The spray actually works better than the older spray and the standard bubbler works fine. A good retrofit piece.
