Small size pen in length and diameter, but excellent writing instrument. The 14 K gold nib is beautiful and butter smooth. The width of words written by this nib is equal and stable under all given moments of writing experience. I bought FM nib which is unique and life long fabulous part of this pen. The piston action is neat, solid in nature and invites no air inside the ink reservoir. Due to FM nib long-lasting effect of ink and no wastage of ink takes places, hence very ink-economical pen. But as the purchase cost is very high and hence demands good handling always. The plastic body is of very good quality and has a shine on it. AST Japan packing, postage and customer service is excellent, prompt and fabulous. Worth buying from AST Japan. I am completely happy and satisfied with this product.

This is only Piston filler fountain Pen of Pilot. Very smooth FM nib. The piston is very effective. It has got 14ct Gold Nib.

Most of my fountain pens are Pilot (E95s, Custom 74,, Custom 823, and Custom 743 -- purchased in that order). My initial experience with the Custom Heritage 92 was most reminiscent of my first use of the E95s, my first gold nib. It was a delight from the git-go. It has greater flair than most demonstrators and seems quite sophisticated at the same time. It's a delight to use. I'm very pleased with this purchase and especially with its price.

This a good quality pen and the body feels sturdy unlike their custom heritage 91 pen.

Such a smooth pen with the FM nib. It simply glides over the paper (Clairefontaine). Using Robert Oster's Bondi Blue, I can see the different blues come out while writing which doesn't happen with all of my other pens. The pen is quite light and fits nicely into my large palm, similar to a Pilot Metro and Kakuno. The twist lid gives the pen a bit more of a classy feel. Highly recommend.

Looks great and writes superbly. A very nice pen for the price. This item was resent to me by the supplier in Japan because the first packet did not arrive. After I complained they sent me a mail and asked if I wanted my money back or if they should resend the item. I selected the second option and am very pleased, they even offered me a discount because of the inconvenience!Highly recommended.
