Incipio Apple iPhone 6 Plus/6S Plus/7 Plus/8 Plus Ngp Case - Black

When I bought my iPhone 6s+ years ago I also purchased a case by Incipio.It wasn't too big yet had great protection, including hard corners and a rubbery surround that matched the camera perfectly.So, when that one was showing it's age, I bought what I thought was the same item.It's not. It's a rubbery surround with no extra corner protection, and the cutouts are too large so it can accommodate many different phones. The camera opening is probably twice what the old one was.It still looks decent, but I'm disappointed.UPDATE: I learned what I needed was called the "Dual Pro" and is available for just the iPhone 6SPlus. It consists of two parts, the rubbery surround, and that's covered by a skeleton of hard plastic. It's a few bucks more than the generic version, but now I've ordered it also.When Apple introduced the iPhone 7 they did away with the headphone jack. I think they wanted to push wireless earbuds, but instead of closing the hole they added a speaker. So the lesser cover has an opening big enough for the speaker, even though I have a headphone jack. The fit is just not up to my standards.

This is NOT the same as the iPhone 6 plus version. I LOVED the iPhone 6 plus version of this case. I used it for 3 years and always went back to it even over the apple silicone and leather cases. This current version of the NGP case has a few key differences over the last one I owned. The new one now has a little bit of texture over the entire thing.. It feels different in the hand, but the only real functional change i noticed was that my phone doesn't want to stay propped up on things anymore. I guess it's grippier in the hand now, but slicker on everything else. The other change (and the big problem for me) is this new case has a shorter lip on the front. Before, I could have a glass screen protector on my phone and the case would keep the front of my phone off of tables or counters or whatever i put it down on. Now that is not the case (pun intended). I am completely ruining my screen protectors AFTER DAYS OF USE. That's right, not months or weeks... days. I am getting LOTS of little scratches all over and several very deep ones. These things look like they are years old. I'm on my 3rd glass screen protector and I've had the phone for under a month. So the solutions for me are 1) retrain myself to never put my phone down face first on flat surfaces after doing it with every phone I've owned for the last 8+ years, or 2) find a new favorite case with a larger lip.These are my observations, do with them what you may. I'm just frustrated they wouldn't just keep the design the same and change the camera cut-out size. The old one was perfect.

This is my second Incipio NGP cover for iphone. The cover increases the outside dimensions of you phone by minute, minimal, amount......unlike other products such as Otterbox. I have dropped my iphone multiple times over the years and have not damaged the phone w/ the Incipio NGP in place. The synthetic material prevents the phone from sliding on angled surfaces. And, if set down screen first, the slight upper lip keeps the screen from contacting the counter desktop, etc, thus damaging the screen.

I had very high hopes for this case, as I used the same one on my previous iPhone 6s for a good 18 months - it was fantastic. The version for the plus size iPhones? Not so much. I put this on my new 8+ for a week, and had to switch it out. The structural strength of the case doesn’t hold up to the larger size, as the bottom edge is actually flimsy and moves. The lip does not come up high enough to cover a glass screen protector, even the thinnest one, which is something the smaller version does.It’s a shame, as the matte feel of the case and grip are soft and nice, it just simply falls short in ways the smaller one does not.

I saw some reviews mentioning a couple people ended up receiving a black case instead of a grey one. This also happened to me. The black case is boring and kind of bulky. Incipio really use to have good cases for the price but this case didn’t at all represent the quality I use to see in their products.

I've been using these same cases for years now. I've loved each and everyone of them. But this one just isn't going to do for my iPhone 8 Plus. It's more textured than the one's in the past making it harder to get in and out of my pocket. Also if you set the phone face down, it rests on the glass screen protector I put on the phone and not on the case. So it's the protector taking a beating and not the case. Hate to say it Incipio, but I'm on the hunt for something better.

Fast shipping at very good price....this is my second one and the first lasted about 5-6 years

Nothing to dislike. Don’t worry about dropping your phone. This tough case takes care of that concern.

El al descripción no dice q sólo te van a mandar la funda interna suave, me parece un fraude de muy mal gusto no poner en la descripción y en las fotos q no es la funda con las dos piezas completa

Muy buen producto, solo un detalle, la funda que llegó no es la misma de la imagen, pues yo esperaba una negra con transparencia y llegó negra totalmente. Pero aún así buen producto y lo recomiendo por su calidad y el precio más 1ue nada.

Buen producto pero suele no durar mucho en buen estado, sin embargo protege al iPhone de caídas. No es voluminoso
