GENUINE BMW 11-12-7-560-482 Engine Oil Filler Cap

seems to be decent quality however, it does not match oem nor does it say bmw on it and the thing that look like the rubber piece that sits on the valve cover is actually a plastic piece that when you put the oil cap on the valve cover and turn it so its latched, the low plastic piece snaps in place below the rim so when you turn the cap counter-clockwise it will pivot on a hinge attached the lower black piece shown in the image and you'll have to pry it off with a flat head if you want to completely remove it, otherwise its a better replacement than BMW can offer now since they've changed the part number to some new hokey piece of junk round oil cap that looks like a terrible knock off, between this and the new replacement from a BMW dealer for twice the price, i'd take this all day long

BMW superceded this item with a generic-looking round cap. It fits but gives the engine cover a "round-peg-in-a-square-hole" look. Rein makes a replacement square flip cap w/o the BMW Castrol ad.

BMW has superseded the part number to BMW 11-12-8-655-331, which is a round cap. Search for that part number to find a current picture.Really disappointed in the customer service by the seller. The invoice mentions the 11127560482 part number, but nothing about a superseded part. Just a round cap shows up instead of the square unit pictured. Seller needs to step up the listing and customer service.

Paid extra to get the cap that was supposed to genuine BMW. Picture showed it had BMW and Castrol written on it and it does NOT. Picture is not what you get

This fit perfect on my BMW much cheaper then the dealer.
