perfect stiffness on bristles
do not like the grip tape being black - would prefer it to match the handle colorThe bristles are not too hard and not too soft - goldilocks perfect!

Not a good “brush”
Too soft; not long enough; too much curve. I do not recommend this product.

Met expectations
Just as described. I especially liked the mold free claim

Poor handle shape hard to hold onto!
Terrible handle......can't hold onto it without it slipping! Instead of the handle being cylindrical in shape, it is square and hard to keep a grip on!

Over packaged
This brush is very over packaged with foam and two layers of hard plastic protecting the brush as well as a full product box. It did ensure the brush mostly arrived in pristine condition, but feels too much for the product in question, which is sturdily built in any case. From the product description, it sounds as though there have been problems in the past with a slippery handle. The solution has been to wrap really ugly tape around the handle in two separate places. It does come off, but you need to use scissors and it left an ugly black mark behind that doesn’t come off. It’s a hideous solution to an issue that should have been solved with a handle (or complete brush) redesign, as the tape makes it look like a cheap second and does nothing to improve the grip, which is difficult due to the shape as well as the chosen finish being inherently slippery. Even just adding a longer hanging loop, which could double as a wrist strap, would have helped. The handle is poorly designed and square, which makes it tricky to hang on to at the best of times; add water and soap and good luck to you. The brush itself is very gentle, yet still effective against your skin. This is a brush to avoid as it is poorly designed and ruined by poor application of black tape on the handle that looks like a cheap, temporary fix to an issue that should have meant a product redesign.

Decent brush
A nice soft brush that cleans without making your skin sore. I like the little stick on hanging hook that came with this too as bath brushes really do go mouldy quite easily if you can’t get them dry. This now hangs over the bath and dries each day between uses. The brush isn’t too heavy and it’s easy to hold - I took the awful black grip tape off, it looked like a cheap afterthought and had glue stuck all over it. It did come off cleanly and easily though. The packaging wasn’t easy to get into, something the the manufacturers might want to consider, a lot of plastic, much of it not recyclable and some of it hard to remove. Other than that it’s a great brush and I prefer it to my old, balding one as it is much softer on the skin.

Cleans wonderfully well with the perfect degree of softness
I have tried various shower brushes in the past and none of them were perfect, most were quite unpleasant, even brutal. Some were too soft, too floppy, and useless, tickling rather than cleaning. The ones with bristles were quite abrasive and painful when used to wash and scrub one’s very sensitive back. Bristles, even made from natural fibres, are sharp tipped and defoliate the skin, making you feel you have gone through some ascetic ritual, good for one’s soul, but definitely not good for one’s sensitivity. Most manufacturers never seem to have actually tried their body brushes out in the shower, before rushing to sell them to a gullible public… but this manufacturer obviously has… hooray ! The Goldilocks solution has been discovered… neither too soft, nor too harsh… but just right !I guess most shower brushes are used to wash the back, since it is the one part of the body which arms and hands cannot reach. So, for a long time I have been in search for a back-scrubber which will treat me with respect…. and I think I have found it…. This shower brush is different, it is made of nylon filaments of the right length, which are quite soft and definitely not abrasive. The nylon head lathers well and washes the back smoothly, but thoroughly. The skin of my back felt perfectly clean and refreshed afterwards. The handle is square and easy to grip. The slightly curved, ergonomic, handle is made of quality plastic, which feels hygienic and is easy to keep clean, unlike some others which are wooden and tend to be varnished and peel. The handle has a small spur at the end which prevents the hand from slipping off during soapy lathering…. a clever design feature. Unfortunately the manufacturer has stupidly put two rings of non-slip black rubber around the handle, using some kind of sticky adhesive, which are slightly difficult to remove. You peel the edge of the black rubber tape away and pull the elasticated band off. Fortunately, no residue or tell-tale mark is left behind, just a pristine handle. Presumably some people experienced their hand slipping off the handle when soapy… personally I did not experience that at all. The handle, free from ugly rubber tape, works perfectly well all by itself. The brush is reasonably light in weight and can be used by every age in the family. Children as well as adults will find the relatively light weight quite manageable. After use, one shakes the excess water off and hangs it up to dry on a small, self-adhesive, plastic hook which is provided in the box. A length of fabric-like cord loops through a hole at the end of the handle, enabling one to hang it onto the hook. Drying it keeps it hygienic, so it is worth hanging it up after each use. There is a choice of cream and pale green versions. Mine is the cream version which looks good. It may be on offer at a slightly higher price than the competitor bristle brushes, but the extra cost is well worth it… to have a body brush which is genuinely soft and civilized rather than one which is coarse and primitive.

Good size and shape, long soft bristles. Supposedly non-slip handle that rotates in the hand
A replacement for one that has been much used and now to be discarded. This "Shower Brush, Bath Body Brush Deep Cleansing Your Body (Cream)" is also available in a pale green version. It is sufficiently long for your back and, for those with some disability, the legs. The lower portion of the handle has been wrapped with two rubberised bands to try to eliminate slippage if covered with soap, gels or foam and only partially succeeds. Used dry for the purposes of review, it seemed effective. The problem encountered during subsequent showers is that the handle shaping is deeper than it is wide and tends to rotate when very wet; it then ceases to be easily usable as the edge of the brush is then in contact with the body. The brush handle is curved so that it is better able to reach around the body than the straight-handled one used thus far which also has no means to prevent slippage when soapy.A thick cord loop is fitted and a self-adhesive hook is provided by which to hang it; that is a useful and welcome addition. The bristles are mixed and synthetic, not too soft or too hard. Pricing is higher than is normally expected but many prices increased by a third or more in the few weeks prior to the date of review, mostly blaming either COVID, Brexit or delivery issues.ADDENDUM - while the rubberised bands help prevent longitudinal slippage, the absence of finger grips and a more logical shaping to the handle would make this a far more effective product. The obvious conclusion is that the bands were a later addition in an attempt to overcome its design oversights and reduced practicality without them. Although originally rated as a 5, that has now been dramatically reduced.

Shower and body brush - pretty decent for what it is
I was surprised when I received this brush for review. I had expected a standard shower/bath brush but what I first had to get into was a very stout cardboard box, two large pieces of foam, a large amount of plastic that was actually fixed to the black rings on the handle, and a solid plastic casing around the brush head. I do think that this is way over-packaged and it must have pushed the selling price up. I really doubt if this brush would break in transit, it feels really solid. The handle is long and has a slight curve to it which makes using the brush easy. At one end is a hole with a short cloth handle which is supposed to slip over the wrist but does seem quite small. The brush head, though, is really nice. It is full and soft.Inside the box there is also a self-adhesive clear hook to fix to wall or tiles (not wallpaper) so that the brush can be hung up after use.One thing to comment on - ignore the final instructions on the included notecard where it says this CAN be left wet and in damp conditions, which is the opposite of the correct description given on this sales page.I do like this brush, and have marked it as 4 stars simply because of the price which I find to be extremely high for a product such as this. But that is my only gripe.
