I've had this for a little over a year and use it to make protein shakes. Ill sometimes add bananas or peanut butter. It has no problem liquidating the peanut butter into the shake.

My son had extensive oral surgery and required a puréed diet for several weeks. Unfortunately, it was more wear and tear than our older machine could handle and it finally croaked.What I expected form this NutriChef blender was that there would be a few ice chunks here and there in the smoothie, but I was wrong. Everything was perfection blended when the appropriate amount of liquid was added.It’s very compact for how efficient it is. It’s small enough to leave on the counter for everyday use, yet light enough to store in an upper cabinet and be able to pull it out with ease.I know you can pop the blade and cups in the dishwasher, but honestly I find that blending some some and warm water in the cups then wiping them down is so much easier and then we’re never without a cup to blend.This little blender is a must have for anyone into smoothies. It works so fast, is easy to clean and will save you a small fortune over purchasing them from a smoothie shop. Plus you have control over your ingredients. Unlike the smoothie shop, you’re able to add your own protein powder and enhancements.

I looked around for a machine and settled on this one. I did so for the power it has as well as the size of the cups and the quietness. I have friends who have other brands and I looked at how those operated and rejected those to try this one and have not been disappointed. I freeze my strawberries so I don’t have to add ice and it grinds everything up really well and makes wonderful smoothies. Friday I will try making a margarita which I think will be so simple vs using the blender like I have for ages and is tough to clean. This one is so easy to clean.

I had a single serve blender before that was cheap… I make a smoothie almost every day so I decided to upgrade and this blender sure is an upgrade! It blends the frozen fruit really well. It’s easy to clean. Definitely worth it.EDIT: They lost a star for their subpar customer service

With school and college starting I could not find one in our area. This is a 900 Watt machine! Have used daily with no issues!

I just used my new Nutrichef Personal Blender for the first time to make a smoothie. This item is exactly as described. It appears to be of high quality, with a champagne colored strong metal housing. Not completely plastic like so many of the others are. The 900W motor worked very well as did the blades, and was very easy to use. It was also very easy to clean, so unless something should go wrong further down the road, I am highly recommending this item.

Blends more quickly than the blender we used to use for smoothies and quieter too. Easy to clean. Happy with this purchase.
