We bought ours 4 years ago and they've held up extremely well. We have three small kids and this has been a great safety feature for them.Durability: Only now are we replacing the two duck stickers that are in the center of tub (get the most use). On both a small edge came up (I think some toy must have caught on it), and the rest of the duck stayed put till my kid decided to try to pull it up. When we placed our first set of ducks, we washed the tub well and waited till it was dry overnight to put the sticker on and let it stay there for 12 hours without using the tub. They've never curled.Addendum: The sticker was stuck on so well that we found out that our bathtub had been reglazed at some point from cream to white. It pulled off the glaze in the shape of a duck. That was ok with us because we just put another duck sticker in the same place, but if your tub has been reglazed, this might be a problem.Color: The yellow color has never stained over the last 4 years, though our new set of ducks looks slightly "brighter" yellow. You'd never notice unless you had the old and new ones side by side. There's been no mold or mildew. Our only need to clean has been the accumulation of soap scum around the edges of the duck, but not on the duck sticker itself.# of packages: You'll need 2 packages to cover a standard size tub. There's 5 stickers in each package, so 10 total.Roughness - No complaints from the adults or the kids, seems just right. I can see why a baby or very young toddler might mind, but you'll need some roughness to make it non-slip.Addendum: it's now been 7 years. In the last year, we've finally noticed some of the original ducks lifting around the edges so we went ahead and replaced all of the original ones. The kids are a little old for ducks now, that's how long they've lasted.

I have an older tub that has little non-slip circles applied to the bottom. Over time, the circles wore down and do nothing to prevent slips, but unfortunately they do prevent a suction cup bath mat from sticking to the bottom. I've tried at least 2 or 3 mats and none of them stayed stuck. I was so excited to find these to help my almost 2-year old be more steady in the bathtub. I applied them a week ago and they are holding up great so far. You definitely need more than 1 package for a regular sized tub. I ordered 3 (mixed one pack of ducks with a pack of clownfish and a pack of dolphins for a really cute combo) and probably could have used one more pack honestly. I think you need to place them relatively close to each other to prevent slipping if the child might stand in the shower with you at any point. These are a great buy! I will say they seem VERY sticky so I'm not sure if you would want to buy these for a new or newly renovated tub or a rental house (although other reviews say they come up with no problem). They are a little expensive for just 5 stickers (and you'll need more than 1 package) but I think they are worth it.I should also note that as soon as my daughter saw these in the bottom of the tub she insisted on getting in the dry tub, fully clothed, to look at and touch the stickers. She then stayed in the tub 'playing' with the stickers for a solid 10 minutes. Now the problem is keeping her OUT of the tub!

So, this is a bit of a strange review, but hopefully this will help someone else out in the future with a similar unique situation. We had set up a new playset in the backyard and my daughter was so excited to use it, but unfortunately the slide was too fast for her. At one point she went down so fast (and always wants us to catch her, which is totally reasonable considering how fast it goes) that i caught her wrong and my tooth bumped into her forehead. Eeek!That night I researched how to slow down the slide and came across a suggestion to use these tub stickers. I ordered them immediately.My daughter LOVES the yellow duck stickers and loves going down the slide (despite the traumatic experience of sliding fast right into my tooth), it has adequately slowed her down which is wonderful and she is almost able to go down the slide herself. She still likes the reassurance of someone holding her hand, but she is slow enough with the duck stickers that it is really just a security blanket.It has held up in the hot sun as well.5 stickers comes in the package, which is the perfect amount for us, but I can easily see ordering more or removing the stickers depending on sliding speed/skill level.We have a birthday party for her coming up and I was worried about the other little ones going down too fast and injuring themselves, but with these stickers we are set!

Exactly thirty-one days after purchasing and applying these, one of the ducks decided to escape its place on the tub. Thankfully, no one was standing on it at the time; the sudden loss of traction would have created a very treacherous surface.About three weeks after this, another duck slipped from its moorings. I have tried to contact the company and gotten no response.I see there are many five-star reviews of this product, and maybe it will work for you. But it did not work for us, so take caution when buying, applying, and bathing or showering once the cute little ducks are in place.

I'm giving these decals a full 2 thumbs up. I ordered 2 packages of them and there were enough to create a good spread of foot grip in my tub. I've seen poor reviews on how long they stayed "stuck on" but I have had no problems at all. I did maker sure that my tub was squeaky clean and dry before I applied them and that seems to be all that you have to do. Super cute and colourful too as well as being just as bright as the picture shows

I bought these because my clumsy family has too many bumps and bruises from slipping in the bathtub, and the bath mats with suction cups get slimy and gross. These ducks are working fine so far, are sticking well to the tub and are really cute. They are a hit with my toddler.

These are great. I've had these in my tub for 2 years and have just come back to buy another set as my kids have finally managed to pull a sticker up. They adhere perfectly and stop slipping, and we use the tub these are in once a day or more. Not to mention they're cute too!
