My husband was in a skit & was the Riverboatcaptain. This hat was a perfect prop.

Liked the style , the design, and the fit. Goes with my pontoon boat well. Seems to be well made and durable.

This hat isn't good quality and it comes scrunched up in a plastic tube for some reason but I bought it for the novelty, not the quality so it works for my purposes.

This is a fun hat. Yes it isn't perfect nor does it look expensive. I doubt a real ship's captain would want this one since it looks cheap/affordable which matches the price and quality on here. This is sold as a fun costume piece. If you scroll through summer break insta posts you'll see a great number of people out there wearing one like this in photos. I figured I'd get in on the fun with my friends and family just to be silly and good humored. I have no major issues or complaints about it. Overall it's something I'd recommend.

I boarded several vessels wearing this Captain's hat. No one followed my orders when I attempted to steer the boats or boss the crew around. This hat does not work.
