Quality radiator at a fair price
Fit was snug on a 2002 Miata, but considering it is a thicker radiator, that is to be expected. No major modifications were neede, a little bench grinder work on the lower mounting spuds was all, even the existing fasteners were reused. As for performance, outstanding, I have 100 percent confidence this will outperform the plastic OEM radiator substantially.

Handyman Special - Do not buy if you don't have power tools
If you are replacing your radiator, odds are you are used to encoutering problems and can deal with them. Installing this item is no exception. The metal passenger side fan shroud requires trimming at the hose bung. No biggie, 2 min job with an angle grinder. The same fan does not align perfectly with standoffs and will require trimming at one mount tab to allow clearance for bolt - will also need oversize washer to account for this. As of no, there are no leaks and it fits in the car, but did require minor modification - but again, if you're able to replace a radiator you're able to modify one to fit. I would buy again - assuming it doesn't leak over time.

02 Miata 5spd ac and ps
I got this for my 02 Miata and the only complaint that I have is one of the holes for the right side fan did not line up at all. Every other hole was pretty good. I didn’t have to modify anything to fit this in my car. It’s definitely a tight fit, but with a little wiggle and tilt you can get it to fit just fine. If that doesn’t work, hit it with your purse! Also not sure why they did this, but mine looks to be spray painted with a high metallic silver.

Decent upgrade from stock
Fan mounting holes were a bit off but still lined up enough to install the single fan. No leaks and hold pressure. Good upgrade from stock 1 row rad. Worth the money, but you luck may vary.

So far OK. Install was not the easiest.
Arrived damaged, the top water neck was slightly crushed. I was able to straighten this enough that it doesn't leak. A piece of packing foam around the water necks would have prevented this.Install was a bit of a pain, the AC condenser needed to be moved in front of the mounts (normally mounted in the rear of the mount brackets) which was very fiddly, and the AC lines needed some tweaking to clear everything. The radiator fan mounts on the rad are about 5mm too narrow and the holes needed to be enlarged slightly for the fans to bolt up. I used some foam around the fan shrouds to help seal them better to the radiator and direct air through the radiator when the fans are on.The stock NB intake has a resonator box on the intake that won't fit anymore and needed to be removed, I cut it off with a dremel and plugged the hole.. no big deal as I will soon be going turbo soon.So far the rad seems OK, Car takes a bit longer to warm up and needed a good 1.5-2 liters more coolant when refilled compared to what came out. Hopefully this is the last radiator I have to put in this car for a while.
