YLI 213YLI175 Original Woolly Nylon Thread, 1000m, Ecru

This is great for sewing swimsuits and other 4 way stretch knits when used in the bobbin. Use a poly thread on the top.It is tricky to thread onto a bobbin, just spray the end with some hair spray and pull it tight to let it dry before threading it. Glue also works.I use my machine bobbin winder to wind it. Works wonderfully.When I first bought it I didn't know what to expect. This thread looks like regular thread on the spool until you pull some of it out. Then it looks rather like a run in pantyhose. That's normal, and how it's supposed to look apparently.

It had a learning curve, but now I’ve got it working in my cover stitch and it’s making wonderfully stretchy hems! My girls love leggings and this has become our perfect solution.

I use this thread all the time to make my knitted slippers last longer! I don't make a pair of slippers without this Wooly Thread!!

I do like the Japanese thread company YLI for my serger. But I am particular about my sewing.

I hate the spool. had to alter my machine to use, but it was the only one I could find for this project. When I finally got the spool to work the thread unraveled into at least 5 fibers. IMPOSSIBLE to thread. Do NOT buy this product

I bought this wooly nylon to use in my coverstitch machine lower looper. I had read that it will stop you getting skipped stitches on the bottom and it really works well. No skipped stitches on anything I hemmed since useing it. Very pleased will buy more

This is my first time using Wooly Nylon as a looper thread in my overlocker, and I am very happy with it. The colour is a very pale cream and it produced a nice serged edge when I used it with white overlocking thread in the needle and other looper. The package arrived earlier than expected (a good thing!) I would buy again.
