WS-01 Eco-LED Wireless Wall Switch & LED Controller with Quick Connectors, for Simple 12V DC installations

Good product

For 13 years there’s been a nice light directly over the bed… for some reason there was no wall switch. Only a toggle on the light, very awkward to get to and was thus rarely used.Not anymore! It is now switched at both the wall entering the bedroom and from a cabinet wall above a bed stand at the head of the bed. Perfect.Had to buy two switches but well worth it considering the convenience of now having a light that is easily turned on and off.

1. Mine appears DOA. I'm not sure if it's the device or the remote but the light stays on and the remote has no effect. It says it's paired at the factory but didn't work and I also tried to re-pair it using the instructions but no effect.2. The plugs seem backward. Most power supply connectors are male but the decal on the device indicates that the 12VDC should come from the side with the male plug instead of the female. Fortunately I had some connectors on hand to wire into the RV to make the match but it may be an issue for some people.I'm returning this one and ordering a replacement. The replacement however is the one with just bare wires instead of the plugs.

If you could get IBROADLINK to add this remote to their supported list for Google/Alexa control it would be the perfect RF switch. Note: I was able to "Learn" the switch with Broadlink and get it to work but it was not as easy as I hoped. I had to train it several times. The first few it turned them on, then off again, like a quick flash. After re-training I did get the on button to work well. Now all I have to do is Tell Alexa to turn on the lights and it works. To turn them off, I just tell Alexa to turn them on again and they go off. Kind of confusing but it works for now. I will try to train the off button, will see.

I absolutely love this wall switch, it took me awhile to figure it out thought , it not always white connects to white , I had to try variety of combinations before it started working (I had to cut off connectors to be able to connect it to rv light sealing wires)UPDATE:I rated 4 stars because it works on dc power only, it shots off when you connect rv to a.c. power

Our RV has two puck style lights in one of our slides that we seldom used because they were too bright and you had to reach up to turn them on. We installed an Eco-LED remote dimmer and mounted the switch within easy reach of one of our recliners. It works perfectly and we now use the lights all of the time. One note, not all LED RV lights will work with the dimmer function because they may produce a loud humming or buzzing sound. They worked great with the cheap puck lights but not with our more expensive decorative lights. This not a defect in the dimmer, it’s just that some LED lights aren’t designed to be dimmed. We were very happy with the product, it was not too difficult to install but a little electrical knowledge is helpful. In most applications you will need to cutoff the connectors of the dimmer wires and direct wire into the RV wiring.

Works great with the LED overhead lights in my 2016 Keystone Passport RV. Can't believe they build these RV's without any wall switches! I couldn't use the quick connects, so just cut them off and stripped back the wires to hook up to my existing light wires. On my RV the switch gray wire goes to the white on RV, and white on switch goes to the black on RV. The reverse would not work. I used Command strip adhesive strips to attach switch to wall and they work great. Only thing is on dimmest settings the LED lights flicker, so we we keep them on higher settings when in use. No big deal and not sure why they do that, but it's minor and not a problem. The remote works from at least 15 feet away from light inside my camper, I walked around with remote to test, but I've mounted them only about 5 feet from lights.

I used it to dim an LED light in an RV. Works great.
