Wish there had been a magnet.
I presumed that this would have a refrigerator magnet, as I’ve had a very similar bottle opener in the past. Other than that, it suits the purpose, just not as handy.

Quality and overal performance.
It works very good, fits in my hand, overall quality of the metal is good, the handle is made out of wood and I don't think the color will last.

Fine for a bottle cap, can't punch a hold in a can
This is not what I expected.I had purchased two of these in the hope that I could use them to open up evaporated milk or sweetened condensed milk and other canned food products where you may want to punch an opening in the can to pour the contents out. Unfortunately, that exactly what this item does NOT do at all.The alignment on the part of the opener that catches the lip of the can to punch a hole is just off depth enough that it will put a dent in the lid but is effectively pointlessand will not puncture the can. It is however fine for opening bottle caps if it isn't a twist off. Also, the handle could use some sandpaper or a good oil rub as it's a but rough on my hands ( could just be me though).

Finally an opener that works. Just wish it had a magnet so I could hang it on the fridge

the tip and grip are separated little to long so ...
the tip and grip are separated little to long so it is hard to open a can. other then that it is a well made and can go wrong with that price.

SELLER UNCLEAR ON THE CONCEPT
To be fair, if all you want is a bottle opener, this thing will work just fine. But I think everyone expects that a gadget of this type will be used for piercing can lids as well (the listing claims it "works for opening bottles or cans"); and for that it's absolutely useless.I should have twigged when I saw the photo in the listing showing someone using the WRONG END of the church key to pry off a bottle cap. That (sort of) works, actually, if you hold the little hook in place under the crimped edge carefully enough; but of course it's the other end, with the loop, that's for prying off bottle caps. The pointed end this model is trying to remove a bottle cap with is the one intended for piercing can lids.My guess is that someone has handed an overseas manufacturer a working church key and ordered a bunch of knockoff copies -- without saying what the thing was for or how it was used. As a result the manufacturer made a perfectly good bottle opener (if you use the opposite end from the photo), but completely botched the can-piercer end: the point is far too thick and blunt to penetrate a typical can, and the hook underneath is too thick and rounded to grip the rim of the can. If you're willing to do some serious grinding and filing you can get the thing to work; but as it comes it's entirely useless for piercing cans.I went and ordered two of these things, and they're both just the same.
