These curtains are described as 'thermal' with a 'thermal lining'. What the product actually claims on the packaging is that the thermal lining is a 'self-lined' bonded layer, that is, in reality, there is no lining, just a pretty insubstantial synthetic curtain. In a real-world setting it is about impossible to accept or deny the thermal claim, but I am very, very doubtful. Blackout properties are okay except for the stitching lines where light shines through the noticeable holes. Good point: a safe, neutral colour, but that's it.

I needed one for the door to my garden, as its glass and the cold was coming though it even when closed. I put the curtain with a string and 2 hooks on a side. Its doing a great job blocking the cold air. And its got a lovely creamy colour that matches the kitchen.

Door curtain. Very light weight so I was sceptical but it does seem to block out drafts. It arrived very creased and despite steam ironing and hanging for about a week the creases still haven’t dropped out.

Excellent value for money, you just can't go wrong at this price.The curtain is very lightweight but surprisingly keeps the light out very well.

Lightweight material, but does" what it says on the tin ". Very good value for money. Heartily recommend!

It came a little late but I like it and it done the job I got it for.

The material is very thin and does not really cut out all the light.
