My feet are 9" long, 4 1/4" wide,I have always had to buy a size 8 shoe because even "wide" shoes from other companies still squish my feet. These shoes are the Best I've ever owned!. I ordered a 7 1/2 extra wide and the fit is Perfect!I walk 5 miles every day and these shoes feel great! They look nice too.Thank you FitVille, I will always order from you!

As advertised, these shoes provide the necessary room in the toe box for immediately comfortable shoes. Finding shoes that work for me is very difficult (always too tight across the toes). After trying these on, I immediately ordered a second pair. They are cushy and comfy, yet have a good fit across the arch area so that feet feel very supported. Finally have some shoes for winter! (my cleat/trax add-ons for ice work with these, and they accommodate my orthotic arch support as well. Very happy with these.

I almost cry each time I slip these shoes on. The fit for my short, wide foot with a high instep is the best. Very comfortable and not like a one size larger to fit my feet, so I can actually order my correct size! They don’t look clumsy or men’s shoes. I was so happy I purchased a second pair right away. Just wish they had more fun colors available.

These are by far the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned! I have had trouble ever since my ankle fusion on my left foot, and now I have plantar fasciitis on my right foot! I thought I was doomed to foot discomfort for the rest of my life! My feet are extremely wide. I have tried and sent back so many pairs of shoes it's ridiculous! I decided to try one more time, and I'm SO glad I did! These shoes are Perfect! I have never known such comfort, and I am delighted with my purchase!

I have struggled to find shoes that work for my overworked feet. I have plantar fasciitis in one foot and severe bunions on the other. The shoes I had, which were size 10 wide were causing pain from my bulging bunions. I never thought I would buy shoes online because I was the person that would try on every shoe in the store before walking down the aisle numerous times before deciding to buy them, but I was unable to find shoes that were wide enough.The toe box of these shoes are wide enough for my bunions. The inside sole is exactly like the 'plantar fasciitis' inserts I once used. Because of the poor state of my feet, I now wear custom fit inserts.These shoes are big enough that I have no problem putting the custom inserts inside.If I didn't wear the inserts, I think, the shoes would be too large for me around the ankle.**I have only had these shoes for the weekend, and wore them around the house. If I have any updates after wearing them at work, I will edit this in a week, but I don't anticipate having any problems.

This was the only shoe, out of dozens of different brands, that is actually what it says it is! It truly IS an X Wide! The only other one I haven't tried yet is the Sas. Most shoe companies still get it all wrong. They make shoes that go in at the big toe, or are rounded. Over the years this pushes your toes into an unnatural position, causing deformaties in the foot. The Altra X Wide, actually allows room enough for your toes to have a little freedom in the toe box, and still offer a quality made shoe that is comfortable and protects your foot. Love these shoes. The only pair I can get my foot into after foot surgery. It went on my foot like Cinderella's slipper.☺️

I have Neuropathy in my feet so it is very hard to find a sneaker that is even a little comfortable. But the moment I tried these on they felt comfortable on me. I purchased a pr. that I thought would be a different shade of blue. I found out later they may show a little different shades on different phones. So they came in navy. But I still loved them so much that I may order another or. in a different color. Try them there great.

The shoes are wide with deep toe box but having female shaped heels the heel cup was far too wide and combined with the fairly high wedge of the heel my feet were forced forward leaving very large gap at back even though tightly tied. I couldn't wear them so had to return them to Germany. Seller doesn't offer free returns and so far after three weeks hasn't issued a refund.

I'm having alot of problems with painful feet at the moment, so read all the reviews and wasn't dissapointed. nice wide toebox and these make walking much more doable. only complaint is that the front part of the sole isn't as padded as the heel part. More padding at the front would make them perfect.

Perfect for walking my 7500+ steps a day! No blisters, no discomfort, very pleased so far with these!

I love these trainers. So comfortable and a great fit for me. Loved them so much. I have 4 pairs now. Amazing comfort to walk in all day.
