Homecoming
Could not stop reading this book! Once again Angie placed you into the place, the characters and the murder with its twists and turns. Loved her mother! Great story.

Lots of memories
I graduated in 1984, so it was fun to reminisce. Now, I am caring for my mom, so reading about Verity and her mom's relationship was eye opening.

Sugar bacon flavored fun
Homecoming. Mom. Love. It’s all impossible to keep in check when Mom’s high school friend turns up dead in a time capsule and Frankie, the gangster ghost, has a love crises that diverts his power right when Southern-girl Verity needs it the most to get to the bottom of some very pressing questions. Who killed Ashley? Why can’t Mom keep her mouth shut? And, say it isn’t so, what is Melody doing with Durango of ALL people? It’s the characters that bring the sugar bacon flavored fun to this one rather than the whodunit.

Great series!
I've read 10 books in the series and they're all wonderful. Great characters and mystery. This book had Verity's mother returning to Sugarland. I didn't like the mother character. I'm glad she rode off in her RV and hope she never returns in future books. Although I gave this 5 stars, it was my least favorite due to the overbearing and unlikable mother.

Perfect cozy
Again Angie Fox has written a perfect cozy. Exactly the right amount of mystery, tension, humor, and fun. This book does not indulge in sappy romance which delights me.

Good!
This was another fun addition to this series! I enjoyed meeting Verity's mom, and even though I was relieved Virginia wasn't in this one, I would have enjoyed seeing Verity's mom having it out with her. While the mystery for me was a bit more obvious this time around, I still enjoyed going along with Verity and Frankie for this mystery. I also really enjoyed Frankie's side story with Molly. Overall an enjoyable read and I'm sad we have to wait so long for the next one. And as usual, audio was excellent. Definitely recommend it!

Great Characters
I loved this tenth in the series as I have all the others so far. Verity's mother is coming to town for homecoming, Verity is stressed enough with her mother's tendency to mention things she shouldn't but when a body is found and her mother puts herself in danger by investigating, Verity decides she must find the answers fast. I love the characters in this series, and the many moments that make me laugh out loud. The mystery was good and kept me guessing, I didn't figure it out until Verity did. I will definitely continue on with this series.

A very good read
The best thing I liked about this story was the lack of the current favored profanity. I do so enjoy a good mystery with the twist and turns. I would indeed recommend this book to other mystery lovers like myself.

Another great mystery
I’ve been hooked from the very first book. The author really makes you feel like a part of the story in the lives of the characters.

I never ever wa t to miss the next book, I'm so glad I didn't miss this one.
As ever, the action, the mystery hits you almost at the beginning and keeps you hanging on for a brilliant ride. I would love a Lucy but we don't get any in England. I would love to have her on her leash following and getting into trouble.. The story keeps you guessing and you think you have guessed it then there is another twist. I loved it. Can't wait for the next one
