Wanted some flat black shoes for a funeral. These look like leather, and are very comfortable as the foot is padded, but I’m not sure how long they’d last if you wore them every day.

I'm always a size 5 standard width, however, after reading the reviews, I ordered a half size up. Unfortunately these were too small, they are very short in the length although the width was fine. This pair are going back and I've received a replacement pair in a 6 which feels slightly better. Unfortunately though the stitching in the inside of shoe is a knot and it scrapes an area of my foot. I don't know if it will ease in time so may have to return those too but will be ordering the 6.5 if I do as the 6 is still not quite long enough. Overall, they are comfortable enough and although the innersole is soft, it feels supportive and the build quality feels quite good. So pleased to have found these as yonks ago back in the 60's and 70's Marks & Spencers used to make them and they were then called cha cha shoes. My advice would be to go up a size minimum, maybe even 1.5 sizes bigger. It's not a hassle to return them and you could also get a few pairs on Try Before You Buy although oddly they take longer to arrive and are a little more expensive that way.

Item looked good, but the soles , a bit to soft.

This shoe was too small and narrow for my size 5 feet, but the quality looked good for the price, I am returning and ordering a larger size.

These have a padded sole and are so comfortable and are exactly the same at the JCrew Cece flats for a 12th of the cost. Really comfortable I am going to get them on every colour!!

These shoes were very narrow for wide fit and also a little short. The quality was decent though for the price.

We bought these for my wife, who is blind, so I am writing on her behalf. On the whole, buying shoes and clothes for ladies is tricky, we find, but my wife was delighted with these as soon as she tried them on. They look good, are comfortable and, most importantly, are true to size. She will probably choose one or two more colours in due course. We would recommend.

These were comfortable the first few wears but after a week the leather started to peel and now they useless due to the cloth showing all around the soles and natural bend of the foot.
