Not as Pictured, But It Works
The version that arrived had a blue top and black base (similar to other versions you can find) and not the lighter blue version pictured for this item. It works, but I was expecting something different. If I didn’t need to use it, I would have returned it.

Works as advertised Just be patient repeat as needed
Works as advertised, I work around electronic gear and my watches tend to pick up a good deal of magnetism, the symptom is running real fast or running slow then fast not constant at all. The fastest way to tell is to get a cheap compass and with the compass on a stable surface, move the watch over it and look to see how much the needle moves. If it is moving it is magnetized.Hold the watch over the gizmo and hit the button, count to three and slowly move it away. You may need to repeat this as the case of the watch shields the innards from being demagnetized. Check again with the compass until there is no detectible movement. What you are really doing is demagnetizing the Balance Spring / Hairspring. It is a very fine spring in a mechanical watch that makes the balance wheel recoil. The spring coils and recoils to swing the balance wheel which then regulates time. Basically the tick tock. When that spring is magnetized it is effectively shortened making the watch faster, or it is sticking together, slowing it down. Take your time, you cannot hurry this. Take steps to avoid magnetic sources, headphones, electric motors, and the worst offender the CELL PHONE. You can use that same cheap compass to check your area for strong sources of magnetic energy, hold it over the top of the cell phone right where you hold your ear, the compass will show you the sources.

Not at all sure if it's working right or not
Seems like each time I try to demagnetize I get different readings from the app on my device. Not sure why it doesn't get the readings to zero.

99 so I am very happy with my purchase
It is rather crude in that it comes with no instructions whatsoever (not even in Chinese) but it does have a push button that lights up an LED when pushed. I then placed my watch in various positions on the thing while pushing the button. My Omega Seamaster watch went from being grossly too fast (practically a minute a day) to just a few seconds. The $16.99 for this thing saved me from a $550 watch service from Omega. I much prefer just spending $16.99 so I am very happy with my purchase.

works great
I was worried with the price, but this thing worked excellent. I got tired of heading to a watch repair facility when I have magnetized watches, so I purchased this. Well worth the price. And while I have never magnetized anything other than watches, I know this will do the job for most things.

Mine works fine
They are a bit cheaply made, but that's why they sell for a cheap price. Works well.
