4 stars for packaging woes...Pros: Sticks REALLY well, to any surface it seems. Hest resistance seems to perform as advertises.It is easily on par with automotive compounds in terms of gripping power and is highly resistant to a variety of common solvents... this is a double-edged sword because...Cons: Tube is not crimped at bottom, Nozzle fits loose, they dropped the ball hard on packaging. If you squeeze too hard while working with smaller bead sizes ( sub 5mm) you're probably going to get a whole bunch of the compound spilling out of both ends.Prep work is absolutely essential to getting the most out of this product. HVAC and Painters tape will be your best friend, if only for the fact that it is very difficult to scrape off once it has been cured. I have more than enough experience with food grade RTV compounds, but this particular one leaves little room for error.

I use this to help customize my grill. It seals and is food safe.. Got the job done.

This totally helped out on my husband smoker getting any leak spots that were leaking out. Smoke was very pleased with the product and now my husband smoker isn’t leaking any smoke where it’s not supposed to.

The Cuisinart Chef's Style Stainless Tabletop Grill CGG-306 and the Pit Boss Silver 2-Burner Liquid Propane Gas Grill 75275 have an area on the sides of the grills that will allow grease from cooking to run down the sides, and the LavaLock RTV 650 is the magic fix. Take the LavaLock RTV 650 and place it on each side of these grills where the welds are not present, and you make your life and cleanup so much easier.

My application was to install a fan on a smoker.I had a fairly large jagged edge around a connector that didn't quite fit right.I applied a thick bead of this and it sealed up, no problem. I then sealed some smallsmoke leak paths here and there on the smoker body/lid and was able to achieve a verytight seal. As to other reviewers complaining about the tip dispenser being too small, and bursting the tube while squeezing, you just need to cut the tube tip so as to get enough output diameter. Really???

I'd drilled 4 holes in my smoker lid in the wrong place and needed these sealed. Cut the nozzle to the right diameter and squeeze, then flatted the excess of both inside and out with a flat blade. Does the job! BUT you try cleanup afterwards! Virtually impossible to remove it from inside the nozzle, NOTHING worked; industrial cleaner, soap and water, so effectively it's a single use tube and then throw away! A little bit of a high price to fill 4 13/64" holes on a smoker lid!
