I've been using this product for years. You don't need much, it makes hair super soft, and can even be used instead of regular conditioner. I have very long hair and maybe use 1-2 quarters worth, depending on whether or not I'm using it alone.

I have the usual multiracial (w, b, native American) hair madness going on, where few products seem to work, and I've tried a lot. I also live in dry climate, high elevation, and with nasty well water to add to my troubles. Though I've tried many products over the years (even in other locations)--many of which left my hair feeling funky, greasy, or dried out--this is the only one that actually conditions, moisturizes, and leaves my hair feeling great, as it's meant to do. Best of all: no funky ingredients. I love the that it has biotin in it, among other hair-health ingredients, and I do feel like they produce healthier hair over time and with consistent use. Though it is somewhat expensive based on its size, it actually lasts a long while, even for my long, extremely thick hair that falls to passed bra-strap length.I'm not too crazy about the smell, though it is rather mild and can be easily masked, and it eventually fades. It's not a bad smell, just a little herbaceous. I've certainly smelled worse, tut. I mainly use it when I'm leaving my hair curly. I try not to use it when flat-ironing because it can get a little heavy, though it may be possible to put a lot less on for better results. With that said, this is great for taming hair a bit too (curly/frizzy) to some degree, but without completely weighing it down. It's not greasy (unless you put too much on), has a nice consistency, and it actually makes my hair tame yet healthy-bouncy after a while, makes my curls look nice, etc. In fact, I'm ordering my third bottle, which I can safely say has never happened with other products tut.TIP: even if you have thick, coarse, semi-coarse, or textured hair, keep in mind that this is a mostly-natural product. That's also code for concentrated, like concentrated orange juice--you don't want too much or you'll get bad results. This would go more so for someone who has finer and/or straight hair, and I've seen good results on those folks as well; you'll probably need much less. I wasn’t able to try this product to give a review on how it works. It was wrapped in plastic and I could still smell the scent. I’m sensitive to most scented products so this didn’t work for me.

My daughter loves having long hair and hates getting it brushed. We've tried numerous detangler/conditioners and this has worked the best. It does have sort of a weird scent (Patchouli?) when you first apply it but it fades pretty quickly.

I have been looking for a leave in conditioner because the one I previously used was tested on animals. I've tried so many organic and all natural conditioners and none were that great. I've read tons of reviews and it took me a long time to decide which conditioner to try.I decided to try BWC's leave in conditioner and I love, love, love it.I have lots of hair, but it is bone straight and very fine. I only use maybe a dime size drop in my hair and apply starting at the end of my hair moving up to my roots/scalp. It's not too heavy for my hair, but I find that if I apply from root to tip then my hair is greasier faster. I have naturally oily hair/skin, so I usually need to wash my hair every 2 days no matter what. If I apply this root to tip, I have to wash my hair every day. Not a big deal to me at all. I just apply tip to root and I am good.There is no residual smell. No chemical feel at all and not greasy. Let me repeat, you do not need to use a lot. A little bit goes a very long way. This is officially my new favorite conditioner.

I have been using full organic products for close to 3 years now. I have found a wonderful shampoo, conditioner, oils and vitamins. But, I was lacking a good organic product that helped with tangles. I came across this product and read a lot of really good reviews. I thought why not try it... I have to say this left my hair tangle free, my frizz was completely gone, the oils did a great job leaving the hair shiny and to the touch was soft. This complimented well with the products I am using. This takes a lot to say because when it claims it does not weight the hair down it doesn't! My hair type is oily on the scape, wavy, and frizzy. Knowing it has oils and the fact that it worked with my hair type says a lot. For the negative reviews I read I am positive it is due to people using too much on their hair. All you need is a dime size. A little definitely goes a long way. The bad review on smell, the smell to me is the same smell any organic product has. It is going to be different from those scented bad shampoos. I am use to this smell, but it is a smell I like whether it be minty or garden like. So, don't expect a citrus or any of those fake smells. Overall, this product does what it says and in the end it is worth the buy.

This leave in conditioner is a miracle I have long, coarse hair & it helps repair my dry ends before they split. It smells so good too!

I love this leave in conditioner. I have really fine hair and only need a dime size. It doesn't leave hair greasy looking. Nice and soft!
