Original post* I got this for a 2016 razer blade stealth. It can transfer the power and HDMI signal through my thunderbolt dock but will not allow for USB or SD usage. If I remove the cable it works fine so I know it's the cable's fault. Dont expect much or buy a different brand!Edit* after many shutdowns and powering on it just suddenly decided to transfer data to the usbs and sd card slot...we'll see if it continues to do soEdit 2* Although the cable is spotty I am no longer using the computer or cable on a main PC. One thing I will point out though is that the seller sent me a private email apologizing and was willing to rectify the situation and send a replace. I will give them an extra star (3) for the customer service. They didn't need to reach out to me but did anyways which is appreciated.

Connected USB C port of a MS Pro 3 to a VAVA USB C hub. No problem with the external monitor, connected by means of HDMI to the hub, but neither the Sennheiser headset, also connected by USB into the hub, nor the physical software key (USB) -also into the hub-, were functioning with the addition of this extension cord. Same for the Yubikey which ended up going back into the only available laptop USB port in order to function.(yes, tried reversing the connector as suggested, inserting it turned 180, to no avail)Most likely NOT a cable issue, more the hub, I am guessing? Will keep the item as I will probably find another use for it at some point, but it didn't resolve what I wanted to do.

This USB-C extension cable is exactly what I needed, since I was getting tired of having a XQD card reader hanging off the front of my PC, figured that wouldn't be good for the readers short built in cable long term. As for the cable itself, everything seems to work well. Data reads and writes at full speed, just as if the reader was plugged directly into the USB-C 3.1 gen2 port, the reader itself is USB 3.1 gen1. The cable is a little on the stiff side, due to the braided cover. That's fine to me, since stiffness is usually a good sign of higher cable quality. There are warnings in the package that if used with a USB 2.0 device that it only works one way, haven't tried any though can my PC has plenty of of type A USB ports.

I bought this Stouchi cable to extend my usb c hub as the cable for the hub was too short. This cable passes everything from the hub like charging, ethernet, video etc. I also have the cable connected to a magnetic usb c adapter. Everything works together flawlessly. I'm using this cable with my Pixelbook go, and have also used it with my oneplus 7 pro both attached to a usb c hub.Build quality on the Stouchi cable is very good. Has metal ends and a nice braided outer layer.My only small con is the cable is a little stiff. Other than that I'm happy with my purchase.

I purchased this to extend my USB C Hub so I could hide the hub behind my desk. It was the perfect length and the braided cable appears to be high quality. It worked perfectly for charging, data, audio, network through the hub for about 5 months, then one morning it just simply didn't work.I tested the cable by itself to extend a USB C monitor cable and got no image or charge with it in place.I haven't found a replacement yet, as there's not a lot of Thunderbolt 3 compatible USB C extenders out there. I'm considering buying another one of these with hopes that mine had a defect.
