Great replacement. I am an ICU RN and need a good stethoscope. I have a Littman cardio III and the tubing became hard and brittle. This was a fast and easy replacement for the bell.

The original Littman tubing was "double bore", and this replacement is "single bore". I'm not sure how this would affect quality of sound.Don't replace your diaphragm unless you need to. It's very difficult to place the new rubber "gasket". Online video suggest using a minute amount of medical lubricant to assist. I used finger tip amount of "dry lubricant" instead. It did help.The new diaphragm is attached for now, but has already come off once. Here's hoping it will stay! :)

My stethoscope had cracked tubing from years of service and cleaning. I was skeptical that this would work but I was pleasantly surprised. I made sure that it fit my stethoscope and I was not disappointed. You will have to pull to get it apart but you can get it separated.

This worked well, sound is good a bit different than original equipment, higher pitch accentuated. A good fix for the money.

This stethoscope tubing is more of a purple color and is no where near the color of an original litmann burgundy which is more of a dark red. The tubing is no where as thick as the original master cardiology tubing it is replacing and the earpieces are quite loose and feel/look cheap. It does transmit sounds well enough, although i do wonder how long it will last before the tubing cracks. Currently debating whether to keep or return it and just send in my litmann in for repair.

Nice replacement tubing for my stethoscope! Would have loved to see more color choices!
