I bought 4 different thicknesses of these and followed a tutorial on Youtube where a guy was able to bring life back to the same video card I was working on. Before doing this (and using Grizzly Kryonaut thermal paste where needed) I was running anywhere from 80-95c temps and getting throttling, even with the settings turned down. At best idling was around 75c. When doing anything that required hardware acceleration it was getting pretty bad. I needed to do something to these cards.I looked at all the options that were on Amazon and looked at what people rated the best and what people said on various forums and Reddit and found that this seemed to be the choice, so I went with it. I found that cutting it with a razor knife was best, and found that you have to be careful with the thinner versions of this, the .5mm and 1mm thickness ones. The 1.5mm and 2mm thick are pretty easy to handle. Also, measure twice and cut once. Make sure to have a good clean environment when working with it and make sure to have something under it if cutting with a razor knife like I did. It goes on pretty easily and the thicker stuff is easy enough to reposition without it falling apart.After using this the video cards idled in the low 40s C and even under heavier use only got to around 70c. They are much more quiet now since I don't have the fans hitting max speed under any kind of load at all. Well worth the price to get video card temps back under control.

I have used before many times. Flawlessly never had an issue with it. My most recent use was on a RTX 3080 it lowered the VRM temps considerably.

Pro: This thermal pad material works wonderful. Removing OEM installed thermal pads and replacing with Gelid material reduced heat by 16C.Con: Gelid Ultimate was ordered and Gelid Extreme was sent by mistake… only a few dollars difference.

Get the ultimate, not the extreme. 10 degree difference between the 2 on my gpu mining rig

This is my second time using these on my graphic card. I initially purchased these for my 3060 waterblock, they are still holding up, it's been over a year. Bought these again for my new 3080TI and I love em!

I've seen some people post before/after temps after applying these thermal pads, but until you see it yourself, it's easy to be suspicious. I went from 100-110 C, which thermal throttling and problems on two dozen cards doing Ethereum mining and now my cards are 70-45 C with the same overclocking settings. Now I can even push the GPUs much harder, and they run at 80-85 C. These pads REALLY work...

I use these to re-pad my graphics card. I have an MSI Gaming X Trio 3080ti and now my memory temps have dropped about 12 to 13 C off what they were. Highly recommend!!!

Received the item, says Gelid ultimate on the packaging, however after I opened it up and cut it, found it is actually the Gelid extreme thermal pad inside costs £15 pounds cheaper than the Gelid ultimate I ordered. Returned the item.

Originally replaced the pads on my 3090 Suprem and was so impressed with heat reduction I changed my MSI Ventus3 3070TI, again was blow away. Decided to change 8 MSI Ventus3 3070 V1's.The problem I ran into with the 3070 V1's was they really needed a 2.5mm pad on the backplate. I used 3mm which slightly bowed the plastic plate but worked. I ran out of 3mm (because Amazon sent an Extreme rather than Ultimate packet) and used 2mm instead on two of the cards and they immediately overheated and caused my Octominer to constantly restart. Will order more 3mm and do those cards again. Gelid if you are reading, please make 2.5mm pads. I plan to repad two MSI 3070 V1 Supreme's and will certainly continuing using the Ultimate pad.

The pad it self is heavy. I used the 1.5mm version. Adhesion was perfect. And post install the mac temperatures are quite decent in the warm climate areas in India. Keeps the mac happy and manageable. I am happy with this size 120x120 better than 80x40 versions. Gives you some safe margin to work with.

De momento parece que van muy bien. Los use para PS4 pro. Con uno llega de sobra para todos los pads de la consola.
