Keurig K-Mini Plus Single Serve K-Cup Pod Coffee Maker, Cool Aqua

Bought this to replace a similar Keurig single cup coffee maker, which lasted about 16 months before it started not heating coffee hot enough. Of course, the warranty is only for 1 year, so after all recommended solutions failed, I bought this model. Love it so far, hope it lasts longer than the last one.Also came with a $3.00 off coupon for K-cups & a $3.00 off Keurig Descaling Solution, however both coupons have an expiration date of 12/31/2021 (almost 2 years expired)! Gee, thanks. Wonder how long has this machine been on the shelf!

We bought the Keurig Mini to quickly make a full cup of coffee. I've had a Nespresso machine for 5 years, never a problem and we still use it. I will continue using our Nespresso for latte's. The overall quality of the Keurig Mini construction is not good. When the coffee is made, it sprays on the back of where the cup is placed. If the color we bought was not white, I might not have recognized the problem. As a result, it needs to be cleaned after each use. I'd say that for the price it's at best OK, but made with much less quality construction than a Nespresso machine, and probably won't last as long.

I had resisted getting a Keurig because of the ecological downside of the plastic pods. However when my wife decided to go mostly decaf on me we needed to have more flexibility. Makes a great cup of coffee if you use great coffee pods to start with - can't beat Starbucks in our opinion. We have very hard water so we occasionally run a little a little vinegar through it. Having removable water reservoir and strong coffee setting sets this model over the basic mini model.

I like the sleek pod holder to keep pods close by. I like NOT having a water reservoir, so I can have fresh water every time, plus the machine takes less space. I like the strong button. It seems a little more noisy than my previous Keurig Mini, but it works well. I like being able to make just one cup when needed. Only drawback is these Minis seem to die after about a year. This is my third one.
