Q: will OPI bottles fit this rack?

Yes, OPI bottles will fit in this rack. I have multiple brands of nail polishes and all of them fit just fine. OPI does fit.

Q: do u have to put a hole no the wall to hang it?

it comes already with the holes

Q: Does it need to be mounted with nails? Would strong adhesive work too?

It has two holes at the top to hang with hardware. I used nails and would strongly suggest to hang with such. The weight of nail polish will most likely make it too heavy to use adhesive.
