¡Gazpacho!

Celebrity culture, I'm above that kind of thing. Except that it fascinates me. For intellectual reasons, of course. So 'Gazpacho!' grabbed my attention immediately. I was also riveted by the cover. The images look like portraits of actual people. Within minutes of downloading 'Gazpacho!' I'd entered a hilariously entertaining world. Who'd have guessed that airport lounges were hosting so much intrigue and mystery? I suspect that Lorenzo Eliano possesses inside knowledge. He certainly has a wild sense of humour.Once I'd started reading, I couldn't stop. I had to go right on to the end. 'Gazpacho!' is the definition of a fast paced read, fun and exciting throughout, whilst making serious points about the craziness involved in being part of the celebrity gang. In fact I recommend this as the perfect book to read while waiting to catch your plane. It'll keep you away from the famous people. You don't want to end up in the 'Gazpacho!'

If your book club meetings are beginning to drag I suggest you introduce this book. It's a fast read with lots of dazzling dialogue. I would recommend being fully alert, drink a double espresso while reading, because it's very complicated and will give your brain a good mental workout to keep on track. It raises lots of questions like what was in the Japanese businessman\s briefcase and was it Ana, Jorge or Pablo who gave the tape to the media ? It's perfect to trigger a lively discussion and get people's imaginations ignited.

A wry look at the crazy lives of "jet set" celebrities, which will have all sane readers realising that avoiding celebrity status is likely to lead to a happier life.Throw into the mix a "fixer / hit man for hire", and the rapid movement from one person's story to the next, and from one airport lounge to the next, and you have a tasty soup mix of a story, with plenty of extra spice thrown in!Just the write length to read while waiting for your next plane to depart...

What a great read! This books cover caught my eye and the setting which included airport lounges around the world, made me have to read it. I loved the characters and almost felt that I was there with them ( watching from the next chair) as they hung out in the lounges where most of the story took place. The jet set world and the very different lives of the characters made me keep turning the pages right to the end. I couldn't put it down. Lorenzo Eliano wrote a winner!

I loved this! It was very well written and has an intriguing and witty charm. It was a delicious. Just like ¡Gazpacho!
