I was getting tired of forgetting to bring my own shopping bags to the stores (new law in my town) so I thought I would just buy this bulk pack and toss it in the car trunk for emergencies. I had to use a few this weekend and I was pleasantly surprised. For the quantity and price I was expecting paper-thin one time use bags, but these are surprisingly good and sturdy! They appear to be a lightweight washable fabric, something close to lightweight canvas and they were sturdy enough to bring in canned goods by holding the handles. I'll be able to use these quite a few times before I need to pull any more out of the pack. This purchase was a score on both value and convenience.

In terms of size, strength, ease of storage, durability in wet weather, and ability to keep clean with hand-washing, these bags seem to be the only viable alternative to heavy (and expensive) canvas bags with handles that are either too long or too short for carrying comfortably. They are also a close match with the durable plastic bags with store logos that some supermarkets made available, and some still do but only to local shoppers. In terms of price, these bags come in at under $1.00 per bag including shipping.I like the plain design and no logos, which spares one the task of having to check that a design or logo does not send the "wrong message" or "offend" anyone. I expect lots of family members and friends (and other shoppers at the checkout counter) will want some, so I plan to helpfully steer them toward this seller. Also, quick shipping at a reasonable rate. So, 5 stars for starts!

Pack of 50 shopping bags is very economical. Sturdy, washable, perfect for grocery shopping as NY state has banned stores from using plastic bags & most stores charge now a small fee for paper bags.

Have been using these bags for a few months now, and so happy I bought them. They are surprisingly strong (seriously, I can carry 2 gallons of milk in one and not worry about it tearing) and can hold a large amount of things. I love that they have a flat bottom (it makes it much easier to fill them quickly when I'm bagging groceries. And you can store them inside each other to take up less space. The only reason why I'm giving them a 4 versus a 5 is because I feel you need to add something to the bottom of the bags to help them keep their flat bottom (I used a bit of plastic canvas I had in the house, but sturdy cardboard or something similar would work equally well). That's the only thing could suggest they improve on, otherwise, these bags are great!

I like the price and ease of use of these bags. They are spacious to use for anything from groceries to beach to quick carry items. They are a little thin material wise, but seem pretty strong.

Ok - these bags are definitely worth the price! They are a great size , easy to write on with a metallic sharpie and easy to use for gifting PLUS they are reusable. I purchased the simple black because they don’t show dirt or wear and tear. I have not washed them yet but trust me I will try when it’s time. These bags are sturdy plus they look nice and for the price I can’t beat them! I have used a hole punch to put two holes in the top of one side and added a permanent double sided satin bow. So these can be dressed up to look very high class . They are reusable so they feel good because I feel I’m in some way making a little bit of change for the environment. Frankly it was my generation that brought out the silly plastic bags. My grandma always had her own bags. She knew they were clean and she knew they were strong. In a way, I feel like using a bag like this is the beginning of getting back to the basics in life . If a gift is worth giving then it’s worth wrapping and if one does not have time to wrap then it’s super easy to put some tissue paper on top. I keep a couple of these bags in my car trunk. They are a great size so I don’t over pack them an make it too difficult to carry because of the weight . Seriously, look at the price. These bags are way better than a drug store gift bag that is only good for one special occasion. Who wants to carry a bag that exclaims HAPPY BIRTHDAY or BABY SHOWER back and forth to a grocery store? Not me, however I do until they break. I’m not saying that these won’t wear out eventually but I can say that they actually look nicer for a longer time. What stops me from grabbing a CELEBRATION bag daily- probably because My mood changes. These bags truly are fabulous!

Got these to fill with door prizes for an upcoming event. They are well made, reuseable, eco-friendly, and have A LOT of room for items. They are a great value for the price.

Needed book deliver bags, but did not want to pay for custom; these are sturdy and cheap, reusable.

Very disappointed. The bag arrived is not the same as the one pictured as you can see above. It is the same bag that is shown for picture for the white colored bag. I bet if you buy the black bag, it would be this style just in black. There's a reason why I picked the beige color as we wanted the style of bag in that picture, but I guess they are all the same style as the white bag. You should change your picture to make this item right so people do not make the same mistake as me assuming it will be the bag in the picture.

I love the quality of this bag, despite of the price. It's true to its size.

I got the bags and they just don’t look like the one in the picture. There’s no rectangle bottom and handles.
