NorproSilver Grip-EZ Stainless Steel Grater with Catcher, 10in/25.5cm

We grate all of our cheeses with a hand grater so we have gone through a lot of them. I have been very impressed with this grater so far. It seems very sturdy and I love that all the sides are big. We like to use the fancy side a lot (thin shred) and most graters have the fancy half the size of the regular grate. All of the graters that we have had collapsed at the seem making the grater weak/flimsy and hard to grate. So far, this one is definitely holding up! Will let you know if anything changes. No news is good news :)

I bought and tried 2 other box graters before this one, including one that had an insanely high review rating (if I recall, it was like 90-something percent 5 star ratings), but neither one was as good as this one. It's not fancy, and it's not super high quality, but it IS the *BEST* at shredding things, hands down. And the build quality is definitely good enough.If you are looking for a decent box grater that just plain works like it should, buy this one!!

This is the best grater I have ever used. As a raw vegan, I tried others and was always disappointed, so I found my way back to the Norpro 343. Others were awkward or so dull they were dangerous. You can't hold on to a carrot very well when trying to use a dull grater, and when it slips out of your hand, you cut yourself on the thing! NOT COOL. Norpro rocks!

If you are able to slide/pry the bottom off this apparatus without slicing your fingers open, I suggest sanding the bottom of the grater then spraying it with cooking oil to help the bottom slide in and out easily.Now it works well.

I liked the quality and size/capacity. However the seam in the metal that holds it together came apart and this is the second one I had. The side that I think is used the most is the cheese grater side and that is where they put the seam so as you press the cheese against it, it pops out. Only had it a few month. I want it replaced or my money back but the window closed. Maybe the factory will read this and do something about it. Sad

This was a little stiff to slide the cover over the bottom.Otherwise it grates fine.

Very poorly made. The first one I received was bent so Amazon sent a replacement. The new one lasted less than 3 months. The pressure from pushing on the medal to grate caused it to bend and eventually the weld didn't hold.

Love it. I have several and always use this grader
